The atmosphere was veey cosy and the waitress made us feel very welcome although I speak limited German and need to look at the English version of the menu. Had the chance to tried their famous schnitzel, which blew my mind away! And also the egg noodle , which was delicious with the salad. Overall , I dont think the food was expensive compared to the quality it offered and the range of dishes offered, compared to the christmas market where one gluhwein already costs 4 euro nowadays. You have to really like sour dishes to eat here. We ordered the schnitzel, as pictured, and it was the only thing we could eat. The potatoes are cold and sour, with vinegar, it's a favorite food in this region, so it's ok, but absolutely not my cup of tea. So, the salad! It is difficult to call this salad a salad, because there are just leaves, dressed again with vinegar. The cherry tomato was one for two, literally, one half on top of the vinegar leaves.

Hallo Thorsten als jemand, der selbst aus der Gastronomie kommt, kann ich nur den Hut ziehen und meine vollste Anerkennung aussprechen! Die "Kleine Traube" in Esslingen ist ein wahres Meisterwerk der schwäbischen Küche – von der ersten bis zur letzten Sekunde ein unvergessliches Erlebnis.

Bereits beim Betreten des Restaurants merkt man sofort die herzliche Atmosphäre und den liebevollen Service. Das Team lebt Gastfreundschaft und man fühlt sich von Anfang an willkommen. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die Professionalität und Sorgfalt, mit der hier gearbeitet wird – das ist pure Leidenschaft für das Handwerk.

Das Essen – einfach sensationell! Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit hochwertigen, regionalen Zutaten gearbeitet wird und dass das Küchenteam mit Herz und Seele bei der Sache ist. Jedes Gericht ist ein geschmackliches Meisterwerk. Vom klassischen Schwabenklassiker bis zu modernen Interpretationen – hier stimmt einfach alles. Die Aromen harmonieren perfekt und das Essen ist immer frisch zubereitet. Ein echtes Fest für die Sinne!

Ich finde es besonders bemerkenswert, dass wir im gleichen Haus gelernt haben, und es ist ein tolles Gefühl zu sehen, wie sich Tradition und Innovation auf so hervorragende Weise vereinen.
