Interesting looking restaurant, good service and nothing wrong with the food.

First visit: However, for price, talk, and dress-code and presentation of food I would assume a higher quality level, also in taste. Nothing to complain in taste, but also nothing very special for what I ate. So price too high for not always polite service and normal food. A friend had homemade Maultaschen and liked them a lot, maybe those would be a better choice. Also make sure to remember what you order and what was included. The service seems to not remember that well and needs help to know if something was forgotten (the other remembered all but since 2-3 different serve).

We walked past and thought it looked nice, especially its simple menu that had all the classics and nothing else. The Flädlesuppe was very nice, not too salty, with pancakes that were also quite tasty. We all had Schnitzle which while not being the best I’ve eaten, was not bad. Nachdem es das Goldenes Fässle ja erst seit 32 Jahren unter der Leitung von Frank Wurm gibt 😊 haben wir es aus ES stammend geschafft. Und? Boa eih. Es hat sich gelohnt! Tomatencremesuppe. Auch eine Wanne voll hätten wir genommen. Super Geschmack. Toll gewürzt. Und davor gab es einen Gruß aus der Küche. Knusprige Brotscheibe hauchdünn mit Mango..mus. Wow. Ein Traumstart. Als Hauptgericht wählten wir Pute gegrillt mit selbstgemachter Tomaten-Chilli-Butter und selbstgemachten Kartoffelnocken. Der Hammer. Echt ! Dazu einen Salat. Frisch. Geil. Toll. Und die Salatsauce. Frau und Mann wollten sich reinlegen. Damit das heimkugeln vollendet wurde. Ein Dessert. Aber was für eins. Selbstgemachte Apfelküchle mit frischen Früchten, Vanilleeis, Schokosahne, Mandeln und zweierlei Fruchtsaucen. Perfekt. Ein genussreicher Abend. Wir kommen wieder.
