269 TwoSixNine Vegan Restaurant Frankfurt — Restaurant in Frankfurt

I came here after all the positive reviews and a NeoTaste promo. Unfortunately I was deeply disappointed and can guarantee to never eat here for lunch again. May be just unlucky, but for me it was a horrible experience.

I was greeted friendly by a waitress who took my order. Vegetarian only menu, so I decided to go for a large salad and a strawberry crumble (I love crumbles). After a short wait my take away order was ready. The adventure started when I wanted to redeem my promo. The friendly waitress started inventing rules as she spoke (which were nowhere written) just not to redeem it. She said first that it is only for sit in not take out orders. So I suggested that I would eat in. Then she switched the argument that she already issued an invoice and I should have told her before ordering that I have a promo (something I never heard of, as the redeeming process requires the knowledge of the sum and order items). After 5 minutes of turning in circles, suddenly the invoice didn’t matter and she accepted to the promo. Again, for me - not really a big deal, I was just so shocked and disappointed by this awkward and simply uncomfortable discussion. I mean - if you don’t want to do this promo, then don’t do it, why trying to cheat me?

After that I went home really looking forward to eat my lunch. Oh boy… the salad was indeed large. But it was really not good. It was dry, no sauce, not even olive oil. Something that tasted like sauce was at the bottom? (tasted actually good, but it barely touched the bottom). But the bigger issue was that the ingredients were freezing cold and smelled like as if were stored in the fridge with something else smelling. Very strange. Overall I would give a 2 out of 10.

I love crumbles, I was truly looking forward to eat my dessert (after such a bad salad). And oh boy, the dessert was indeed worse. The crumble was un-eatable. The strawberry turned sour and almost had alcohol in it, and the crumble pieces were all soft and few. After few bites I almost puked. The desert must have been prepared at least 2-3 days ago (I ate it on Monday, so must have been before weekend). How can you do that to your customers?

I was really looking forward to a tasty home-like cuisine but this lunch turned into a horror. I had stomach pain for hours in the afternoon.

Could have been all a bad coincidence, but whatever the price - don’t give old food to your customers, this...

Absolutely incredible! Restaurant 269 is hands-down the best vegan dining experience I’ve ever had. Every dish was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Whether you’re a longtime vegan or just curious about plant-based food, this place will blow you away.

The customer service was just as impressive as the food—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we walked in. The staff made sure we felt cared for throughout the entire meal.

I can’t recommend this place enough. Do yourself a favor and go try it—you’ll leave full, happy, and already planning...

Amazing Restaurant! If you love Vegan food this is a top choice. They have a large menu with interesting dishes which made it hard for me to choose, because I wanted to eat everything. I ordered the falafel and the 269 wrap with fries which tasted delicious along with a really good lemonade. The falafel came with tasty sauces and were well cooked. The wrap was filled with shawarma, onions and a beautiful blend that brought the spice into it. Also the staff was super nice and accommodating. I also appreciate that they are open late, as I strolled in hungry at 930 on a Sunday and they had no problem taking care of me. I really wanted to get that cheesecake but the portions were so generous that I had no space left. I do look forward to getting some off their desert menu the next time. Definitely...
