Gelateria La Luna — Local services in Frankfurt

The ice cream is creamy and tasty but could have some haselnut and walnut chunks for the respective varieties. Service is efficient but insensitive. I thought I wanted roshelino ice cream (the true name is roshero), and the waitress thought I meant Raffaello. After ordering, I thought I had coconut because the Raffaello ice cream is not chocolaty like the roshero and instead tastes exactly like coconut. I tried to find out why the ice cream didn't taste as expected since I had tried a sample just before ordering. The service lady said "you got exactly what you wanted". I think the formulation was unhappy. I got was we mistakingly ordered (shared mistake) but not what I wanted. I wasn't going to ask for a replacement of 1 variety in a sunday of 3 varieties but the incident could have been handled more tactfully. It's almost as if they are being paid based on the number of minutes clients have to weit for their Ice cream to the exclusion of making customers actually feel welcome and considered. The greatest coffee, but mad manager. Impossible to pay by card under 10 eur.

I bought ice cream and I paid 5-6 euro by card after I decided to sit down and order a cappuccino. When I asked a bill waiter said that impossible to pay by card, of course I didn’t have euro and crazy fat “manager” started to YELL! Impossible to pay by card. Started to sort things out, who accepted card less than 10 euro, poor girl, who works here…I’m so sorry, it’s totally abuse to work in that atmosphere. I left without any payment, of course I will be happy to order more if this mad mad wasn’t going to yell at me. It’s not customers problem if you try to avoid taxes or other finance problems, put attention first, explain customer immediately that pay by card under 10 eur. This mall is opposite of Buchmesse, there are lots visitors are from all world. We live in 2023 and pay by card it’s okay and it’s not customers problem that it’s expensive for you to use...

Excellent!!!!!! I couldn’t ever understand how anyone would not be impressed with everything this place has to offer (especially since the new owners took over). Me and my husband come here every time we visit Frankfurt and looking forward every time for our next visit. The service is quick, efficient and very friendly. Everything we’Ce tried so far was out of this world. The waffles, Crapes, cakes are delicious. The coffee creations come always with a small ice cream taste on a side.
