AWFUL. Very outdated aparthotel. Everything is OLD. Pillows are REALLY soft, probably the cheapest they could buy.
Rooms are dirty - don’t look underneath the bed/sofa, cause you’ll see a lot of signs it hasn’t been clean enough for years.
The staff is really UNFRIENDLY. At least the ones from the night turn, which were the ones I had contact with.
The guy who checked us in didn’t make any effort to make us feel welcomed. He was super COLD, clearly hasn’t been trained at all in hospitality. He looked like he hated his job.
A few hours later, my husband and I went downstairs to grab a hot tea and he told us THERE WAS NO TEA even though they had a sign selling it. I emphasised the sign, and the tea just appeared out of the blue, followed by comments from him and his friend that buffed at us.
Then I asked if we could have it in the lobby and he said NO because the machine for drinks was not working so we should have it in the room.
However, he was just being lazy because in the day after, I came downstairs again for tea, and the other member of staff just sold me and offered me to have it in the lobby. He didn’t even used the drinks machine, he just used the kettle - which the guy from the other day could have done if he was not lazy.
I also don’t understand why people say in the previous comments this aparthotel is in a good location. Well, it’s not. If you’re planning on walking from the train station to the hotel at night, avoid it at all costs. It was very sketchy and dangerous. We did and we were approached by prostitutes, drug addicts and more along the way.
When you finally make it to the hotel, the door is locked. You have to ring a bell that doesn’t make any sound so you don’t know if it’s actually working or not. We stayed there ringing the bell for 5 minutes and nothing happened. We finally made it and had the worse hotel welcoming in my life, as I’ve previously described above.
To sum up, there is no restaurant at the hotel, only awful selected overpriced frozen food. NEVER STAYING...

I was visiting friends in Frankfurt and this hotel was near their apartment, which is why I chose it based on location.
I didn't pick the next door Marriott nor the Melia down the road because they were higher priced.
But honestly? I was so impressed with the Adagio!
I had a one bedroom room so a seperate living room and kitchen (small but very well equipped including full fridge), and it was super spacious and everything felt new modern (except the TVs, more on that later!)
The WiFi was strong and free, the shower was powerful and hot, and the staff on reception, especially the gentleman with the beard was super friendly and spoke perfect English.
It's not in a tourist area, more business and offices, but Frankfurt is actually pretty small and the public transport good with a tram stop right outside and metro nearby, and of course it's a very walkable city so worth considering even if you're there to see tourist stuff. Especially with the kitchen - it's nice to not keep eating out all the time!
As it's right next door to the Marriott, there's heaps of taxis around too.
The hotel is well signposted and you have to use the intercom inside the lobby so they can let you in to the 4th floor to check in, after that, your key card will let you in.
About the TVs - these were the only thing that needs changing. Yes they're Samsung, but to not be Smart TVs is 2023 is a bit mad! You can't even cast from your laptop or phone, nor access any on demand apps you might have. I love having TV as background noise and they were just really old fashioned.
I would absolutely stay again, I wouldn't bother with breakfast unless you get a deal on it. It's lovely and a good selection but it's €20, and if you're not a big eater, you can just have some yoghurt and fruit from the supermarket...
Read moreI traveled with my family, it was in overall a pleasant experience. I decided for an apart hotel because we needed a place to prepare the baby's formula and also look the opportunity to cook instead of ordering food.
Why I put 7 instead of 10 is because of:
-The lack of information about the services available in the apart hotel. For example. At Novotel, when you enter to the Wi-Fi, you get greeted by a portal showing you all the services and things you can ask for (For example a sewing kit).
Lack of instructions on how to use the kitchen appliances, it's not intuitive how to turn on the stove or use the extractor hood (You have to pull it first to show the controls). And the microwave, I had to push the button several times to open the door.
The fridge turned off. If you know that I will arrive, why you have it off? To have it at the correct temperature you need a couple of hours on (Thus you can't use it) and also it less efficient because the compressor is working all the time to set the temperature again to the suitable level to use it.
From the kitchen utensils, I think are fair enough, and you have everything to cook a meal, but the Pan quality, it's horrendous, the size is too big for the stove, and you take ages to cook something on it. I have to use the hood at maximum power, to cook minute steaks in 15 minutes!
Finally, I would like to mention that the personal was extremely friendly, the cleanness top-notch and the bed it was very comfy!, our baby slept better than at home.
PS: We had to buy oil, salt, and other basic kitchen items because we cooked, so at the end of our brief stay, the price for ordering food was almost the same as it was...
