AWFUL. Very outdated aparthotel. Everything is OLD. Pillows are REALLY soft, probably the cheapest they could buy.

Rooms are dirty - don’t look underneath the bed/sofa, cause you’ll see a lot of signs it hasn’t been clean enough for years.

The staff is really UNFRIENDLY. At least the ones from the night turn, which were the ones I had contact with.

The guy who checked us in didn’t make any effort to make us feel welcomed. He was super COLD, clearly hasn’t been trained at all in hospitality. He looked like he hated his job.

A few hours later, my husband and I went downstairs to grab a hot tea and he told us THERE WAS NO TEA even though they had a sign selling it. I emphasised the sign, and the tea just appeared out of the blue, followed by comments from him and his friend that buffed at us.

Then I asked if we could have it in the lobby and he said NO because the machine for drinks was not working so we should have it in the room.

However, he was just being lazy because in the day after, I came downstairs again for tea, and the other member of staff just sold me and offered me to have it in the lobby. He didn’t even used the drinks machine, he just used the kettle - which the guy from the other day could have done if he was not lazy.

I also don’t understand why people say in the previous comments this aparthotel is in a good location. Well, it’s not. If you’re planning on walking from the train station to the hotel at night, avoid it at all costs. It was very sketchy and dangerous. We did and we were approached by prostitutes, drug addicts and more along the way.

When you finally make it to the hotel, the door is locked. You have to ring a bell that doesn’t make any sound so you don’t know if it’s actually working or not. We stayed there ringing the bell for 5 minutes and nothing happened. We finally made it and had the worse hotel welcoming in my life, as I’ve previously described above.

To sum up, there is no restaurant at the hotel, only awful selected overpriced frozen food. NEVER STAYING...

Would staying again in a heartbeat!

I was visiting friends in Frankfurt and this hotel was near their apartment, which is why I chose it based on location.

I didn't pick the next door Marriott nor the Melia down the road because they were higher priced.

But honestly? I was so impressed with the Adagio!

I had a one bedroom room so a seperate living room and kitchen (small but very well equipped including full fridge), and it was super spacious and everything felt new modern (except the TVs, more on that later!)

The WiFi was strong and free, the shower was powerful and hot, and the staff on reception, especially the gentleman with the beard was super friendly and spoke perfect English.

It's not in a tourist area, more business and offices, but Frankfurt is actually pretty small and the public transport good with a tram stop right outside and metro nearby, and of course it's a very walkable city so worth considering even if you're there to see tourist stuff. Especially with the kitchen - it's nice to not keep eating out all the time!

As it's right next door to the Marriott, there's heaps of taxis around too.

The hotel is well signposted and you have to use the intercom inside the lobby so they can let you in to the 4th floor to check in, after that, your key card will let you in.

About the TVs - these were the only thing that needs changing. Yes they're Samsung, but to not be Smart TVs is 2023 is a bit mad! You can't even cast from your laptop or phone, nor access any on demand apps you might have. I love having TV as background noise and they were just really old fashioned.

I would absolutely stay again, I wouldn't bother with breakfast unless you get a deal on it. It's lovely and a good selection but it's €20, and if you're not a big eater, you can just have some yoghurt and fruit from the supermarket...

I traveled with my family, it was in overall a pleasant experience. I decided for an apart hotel because we needed a place to prepare the baby's formula and also look the opportunity to cook instead of ordering food.

Why I put 7 instead of 10 is because of:

-The lack of information about the services available in the apart hotel. For example. At Novotel, when you enter to the Wi-Fi, you get greeted by a portal showing you all the services and things you can ask for (For example a sewing kit).

Lack of instructions on how to use the kitchen appliances, it's not intuitive how to turn on the stove or use the extractor hood (You have to pull it first to show the controls). And the microwave, I had to push the button several times to open the door.

The fridge turned off. If you know that I will arrive, why you have it off? To have it at the correct temperature you need a couple of hours on (Thus you can't use it) and also it less efficient because the compressor is working all the time to set the temperature again to the suitable level to use it.

From the kitchen utensils, I think are fair enough, and you have everything to cook a meal, but the Pan quality, it's horrendous, the size is too big for the stove, and you take ages to cook something on it. I have to use the hood at maximum power, to cook minute steaks in 15 minutes!

Finally, I would like to mention that the personal was extremely friendly, the cleanness top-notch and the bed it was very comfy!, our baby slept better than at home.

PS: We had to buy oil, salt, and other basic kitchen items because we cooked, so at the end of our brief stay, the price for ordering food was almost the same as it was...

Aparthotel is a chain of Accor group which have more than 5000 hotels with different names allover. Novotel is also one of them. It is located in same building of Marriot and just 500 meeters walking distance from Messe. As we can understand by name Aparthotel is having Appartment rooms with basics facilities we need at home like kitchen and room. We can find TV, Fridge, Electric gas, Owen, Kettle, Iron Box. In the kitchen they have kept various Bowl, Glasses and dishes for basic needs. Check In time is 15:00 Hours and Check Out at 12:00 Hours. If you wish to check-in earlier need to pay 50 Euro 💶. We reached at 11:00 am got Wi-Fi password & occupied lobby area and finally got room at 2:00 pm. Room service is once in a week and if your staying for more than 5 days they will provide extra towel. Ensure to carry all basic requirements as they only prove towels and shampoo in 🚿 bathroom. You will not find any comb , moisturizer etc . Rooms are small and they even have 2 or may be more rooms appartment also. The restaurant is small but decently maintained Breakfast was same for all days and vegetarian options are very less. Vegetarian may need to survive on toast, bread rolls, dryfruit, 🍑 fruits, cornflake juice 🥤 ..

If you are travelling to Frankfurt and thinking of where to stay, then I highly recommend this place. It is a ApartHotel which is a combination of Apartment and Hotel, meaning that there is a small kitchenette in the room. That makes a whole world of difference. Even if you don’t plan to cook, having a full size fridge, a microwave cum oven all-in-one, and even a handsome coffee machine make the stay felt so homely. It is not too far a walk to historical places of interest. The check-in/lounge area is great to hang out and chill on a hot summer day. It is next to Marriott Hotel which makes recognising the place easy even from far away. There is a TV sports bar cum restaurant at the ground floor of Marriott that serves great beer and food, a place to visit if you stay at Adagio Frankfurt. Thumbs-up to the friendly staff too for making the stay so assuring and comfortable.

We had a great stay at the Adagio Frankfurt. The rooms/apartments are well appointed and large and the location is fantastic with different transportation available whether taxis which line up in front of the hotel at all hours or the RMV/Tram which also has a station right outside the hotel. The hotel is perfectly situated in a high end, safe and quiet neighbourhood too! Easily the best part of our stay was the staff and specifically Nwiyah at the front desk who single handedly made sure it was a very enjoyable stay. Every day he would provide us suggestions on where to go and he made great suggestions on visiting Rudesheim and Heidelberg which we thoroughly enjoyed. By the end of the stay I gained a new friend. One thing the hotel can improve upon is the air conditioning which is fairly weak but again Nwiyah came to the rescue. Thank you Nwiyah for all your help!
