Café No.48 — Restaurant in Frankfurt

For a Café, the first 2 things I evaluate are the coffee quality and the atmosphere. 48 definitely checks both marks. The cofee options are not a lot but are not in any way lacking. Options are available for many tastes, and different roasts are usually available either for brewing or for takeout sales. Different milk options are also available, but I can't say anything about it as I drink my coffee black.

There are a few bakery options that are very nice, but my absolute favorites are the croissants and the zimtschnecken (cinnamon rolls).

The atmosphere feels welcoming and youthful, and there are plenty of places for seating both indoors and outdoors. Most indoor seats have power outlets closeby for anyone who'd like to use a laptop. The wifi is reasonably fast enough to do video calls or some streaming. The music variety is great and is generally not loud to interfere with your conversations or your focus. I am increasingly happy to get coffee from your place. Today you have been exceptionally nice. My cappuccino was great and my friend got a fresh filter coffee refill given you had run out of coffee on his order. I also really like that the coffee’s high quality is constant every time I come compared to other places which start well but then they either over extract it or change the size or they pour it almost cold.
