Had dinner with my Chinese gf here. She was happy with the approximation to traditional food, and I was happy with the taste overall. We had their beef strips, which I really liked, and traditional fish dishes (this was way too much for two people and ended up taking a good-sized portion home). Our waiter had small difficulties with English and German, for us it was not an issue as he spoke Mandarin with my gf but we did observe him have a slightly confusing conversation with the table next to us. We ordered the Pork Belly with Preserved Vegetables (Mei Cai Kou Rou), Boiled Fish Fillet with Chili Oil (Shui Zhu Yu), and Stir-fried Cauliflower—all were excellent! Although the pork belly is a Hakka dish rather than Sze Chuan, they executed it so well that it became my wife’s favorite of the night.

The only thing I didn’t like here is the food came on different time and I mean like 10-15 minutes after each dish which makes a meal not enjoyable, you finished a dish and have to wait for another 10 minutes for another dish to come 😕
