Pho Ha Noi — Restaurant in Frankfurt

In the lovleys food lovers paradise neighborhood of Frankfurt, Pho Ha Noi was a pleasant find. Generally "Asian food" is lumped together and adjusted to the German taste buds. However this is a Vietnamese Pho house through and through. The owners are absolutely charming and friendly. The facilities are clean and it is very much a family or solo kind of place. There is indoor and outdoor seating and available street parking (paid of course). Now lets get to the important stuff. Pho, the key elements is a good broth and their broth is amazing. With the added top quality ingredients in the fantastic broth, you are in Pho heaven. I look forward to coming back on many occasions. If you love authentic Vietnamese food and understand the beauty of it than this is your place. Otherwise I can't imagine a better place to get aquatinted with it. Small restaurant right on Berger Strasse, the food was prepared quickly, and the staff was friendly and prompt. The self-made drinks were very refreshing and tasty. The food itself was tasty although the price portions were on the smaller side (grabbed a Döner next door as soon as I came out). I visited this place with a friend who had the same opinion although she is a female and much smaller than me. Nice place if you feel the craving but if you want to be fulfilled try ordering two dishes...

Wir waren zu viert hier und hatte einen schönen Abend. Die vegetarische Vorspeisenplatte für 2 Personen haben wir durch 4 geteilt. Die vegetarische Vorspeisenplatte war sehr lecker, es gab sommerrollen, Salat und Frittierte frühlingsrolle. Wirklich sehr lecker. Als Hauptgericht hatte ich die pho bo sot vang Suppe mit Rindfleisch. Hat gut geschmeckt und das Rindfleisch war sehr saftig. Die Brühe hatte ich auch schonmal intensiverer mit mehr Geschmack gegessen. Meine Begleitung hatte ein reisnudelgericht (siehe bild). Es war auch gut, aber auch hier hatten wir woanders schonmal ein intensiveres geschmackserlebnis. Die selbstgemachten Limonaden sind auch sehr lecker. Preislich ist es leider etwas teurer wenn ich preis/Leistungsverhältnis mit nderen frankfurtern Vietnamesen vergleiche. Die Suppe hatte ich in klein (glaube das war dann 8,90 €) und trotz vorspeise bin ich nicht satt geworden. Groß hätte allerdings 13,90 € gekostet was ich für eine pho Suppe einfach nicht zahlen möchte. Woanders habe ich größere und leckerere pho suppen schon für 8-9 € gegessen. Auch das Nudelgericht war leider ein wenig klein. Fazit: Geschmack ok bis gut, Getränke top, preis zu teuer für die kleine portionsgröße. Ich gebe daher wohlwollende 4 Sterne, favorisiere aber klar andere Vietnamesen...
