Pho Kien Giang — Restaurant in Freiburg im Breisgau

I stumbled upon this authentic Vietnamese restaurant while looking for a place to try. I had actually wanted to visit before, but since it’s a bit far from both my office and home, I never managed to come. Yesterday, on my way back from church, I noticed it — and today I finally came here for lunch.

The spicy pho really stood out. I also ordered shumai and summer rolls to take away. Next time, I think I’ll just go for the pho and the bánh xèo. The kindness of the couple who run this place makes me believe their restaurant will continue to do well. What...

We ordered Bun Bo Hue Tofu ( mean Vegetarian dish) ,found 2 pieces of meat inside, taste like shrimp paste also . The spoon they gave was dirty . What a bad day!!! Have to wait too long just for a soup( more than a half hour) before coming we called. If they dont have enough staffs shouldn't take so many customers and let they wait . The taste also not original. Service uncomfortable to customers ....

Vor einer Woche vor Ort für 8 Personen reserviert. Gestern Abend hingegangen: das Restaurant wusste plötzlich nichts mehr von der Reservierung. Nach kurzer Diskussion wurden wir dann doch an einem großen Tisch ganz hinten in der Ecke platziert.

Das Essen solala... Nicht ungenießbar, aber es fehlte dennoch überall an Würze und Geschmack. Preislich dafür in Ordnung.

Der Service war ein absolutes Chaos. Dass man 8 Vorspeisen nicht sekundengenau an den Tisch bringen kann leuchtet ein. Aber ein zeitlicher Versatz von 30 Minuten zwischen der ersten und der letzten Vorspeise sind nicht akzeptabel, wenn man als Gruppe zusammen essen möchte. Bei den Hauptspeisen dasselbe Trauerspiel. Die Kellnerinnen völlig planlos, kommen mit Essen und Getränken an den Tisch, die niemand bestellt hat (gehörten wahrscheinlich einem Nachbartisch). Planlos und unorganisiert, sowohl Kellner als auch Küche. Kartenzahlung wird ebenfalls nicht akzeptiert. Uns sieht dieses Restaurant nicht...
