The food was tasty, but the portions were extremely small, even the dishes meant for multiple people left us hungry. It felt more like sampling than an actual meal, which was disappointing, especially given the high prices.

There was also a mistake with our order: two additional dishes were brought to our table (small plates of potatoes that could have been side dishes). We had no idea they weren’t part of our order, but once we had finished eating, we were informed that they had been a mistake. However, since we had eaten them, we were told we had to pay for them, despite the fact that the error was on their end. Eventually, as we were uncomfortable, a waitress offered a just partial discount. The situation felt unprofessional, and this kind of greed seemed out of place.

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place. They need to improve their customer service and, at the very least, serve proper portions. The food has potential, but the experience felt overly focused on squeezing money out...

Mixed Experience with Great Food

The food at this restaurant was excellent, and I’d certainly recommend it based on the quality of the dishes. However, the service and amenities left something to be desired.

Our German waiter had a condescending tone and seemed to lecture us throughout the meal, which made the interaction unpleasant. On the other hand, the Spanish-speaking staff member was much more welcoming and kind.

Additionally, the restaurant isn’t very child-friendly. There was no kids' menu, and the baby chair was so uncomfortable that my nephew wanted to leave after just 10 minutes. The chair seems designed for infants under one year old—older toddlers can’t move their legs properly.

Qué alegría haber encontrado este restaurante en Freiburg! Es, sin duda, el mejor restaurante peruano que he probado en Alemania. Desde el momento en que entras, te envuelve un ambiente cálido y acogedor, con una decoración que transporta directamente al Perú y una música en vivo que hace que la experiencia sea aún más especial.

La comida es simplemente espectacular. Los sabores están perfectamente equilibrados entre la autenticidad de la gastronomía peruana y un toque adaptado al paladar europeo, sin perder la esencia de los ingredientes y especias tradicionales. Una de las cosas que más me ha encantado es el concepto de los “piqueos”, una selección de cuatro platos típicos de la cocina peruana en una sola presentación. Es la opción ideal para quienes quieren probar un poco de todo, disfrutando de cada bocado acompañado de un delicioso cóctel de la casa y la música en vivo.

El ambiente es amplio, limpio y bien cuidado, ideal tanto para cenas íntimas como para reuniones con amigos. Además, el personal es extremadamente amable y atento, lo que hace que la experiencia sea aún más placentera. Finalmente, un lugar en Freiburg donde realmente me siento como en casa. Schon beim Betreten spürt man die warme und einladende Atmosphäre, mit einer liebevollen Einrichtung, die einen direkt nach Peru versetzt, und dazu noch Live-Musik, die das Erlebnis perfekt macht.

Das Essen ist einfach hervorragend. Die Aromen sind perfekt ausbalanciert – authentische peruanische Gewürze treffen auf eine leichte Anpassung an den europäischen Gaumen, ohne dass die Originalität verloren geht. Besonders begeistert hat mich das Konzept der “Piqueos” – eine Auswahl von vier traditionellen peruanischen Gerichten auf einem Teller. Perfekt für alle, die gerne verschiedene Spezialitäten probieren möchten, während sie einen köstlichen Hauscocktail genießen und der Live-Musik lauschen.
