Maybe our group did not had luck, and maybe the chef and service was not having the best day, but food was not impressive, all the food explanation was not given by the waiter, he took for ever to bring drinks and food took super long between courses, and no more drinks were offered in between, we had to chase the park waiter for service while the table next was having a great service and waiter was very friendly and attentive to them (maybe the reason why our service was really bad). Food was good, but honestly for the price it was not impressive. We were very disappointed as the reviews are really great for this restaurant… again, maybe it was just a bad day, unfortunately, I would not risk it again to try better luck.
Update: I was contacted by management, and they gave a great follow up to the situation, while it is very unfortunate that my experience was not great, they do care about customer service and about making sure the experience is great for the customer, the level of concern, was definitely not taking lightly, and I...

Varied wine list in a part of Germany not known for drinking wine at all. A breath of fresh air for any visiting tourists from in or out of the country.
Chef has cooked in australia/nz and south East Asia and it shows in fun spices and the inclusion of fresh vegetables (also a rarity in Bavaria apart from potato!)
The two female owners are also consummate hosts. Would definitely come back in my next...
Read moreWhen we waited in front of the door, got asked if we are ready to have 2 cause menu, just with his body language to stop us to go inside and to take a menu immediately to show the menu and the price. his question was actually : If we have money to enter this restaurant an can pay. It is quite irritating to get this kind of style of the service. It is not a question for us to the price, but if you are worthy of it. After I got this kind of irritation, I push my partner who sits in the wheel chair just to another restaurant in town who welcomed us with excellent food and warm service.
Update: Just read the reaction of this restaurant. Well said, but not be snobbery, be honesty and don’t judge people. Try your best to translate your filosofie into the practice dairy and keep reflect by yourself. This is the best way to keep...
