Äthiopische Spezialitäten Ethio Restaurant — Restaurant in Hamburg

This was my second time at Ethio, and I chose to celebrate my birthday here with a group of 9 people. I could not have been happier with my choice! My guests all loved the food (we had 3 shared plates: meat plates for 4 and 3 people + 1 vegan plate for 3 people) and they could not decide which dish was their favourite because everything was really super delicious!!

The service could not have been better as well! We had a table outside in the lovely terrace with garden; the staff was super friendly and the owner even gifted us a bottle of Prosecco when he found out it was my birthday!! (and played a bday song on the speakers) :)

This is a lovely family restaurant, with amazing food and welcoming staff. I was able to meet the chef who was super friendly as well. I am sure you will have a great time at Ethio! :D

(The price was very reasonable ! And again, the food is incredibly good)

P.S. If you want to experience a Coffee ceremony you should let them know as soon as you arrive or even when you make a table...

The food was amazing and the potions are really good we got really full but we also feel that every euro spent was absolutely worth every bite. My girlfriend and I Share the Starter and We Got the Mix Platte for Two and I can Only say the starter was phenomenal full of fresh fruit, and a lovely green salad with the most amazing dressing. The mixed platter for two was really nice because you got to try a little bit of everything on the menu. My girlfriend isn’t a fan of parsley, but I love parsley so if you are a parsley lover, they don’t go overboard, but the Flavas are really balanced, and if you are not a parsley lover, then I would recommend asking the chef to skip the parsley

But overall, an awesome experience, a very welcoming adventure into a new food, culture and excellence service, and customer orientated Restaurant.

I would have loved to give a bigger tip, but they only accept tips in cash so take that into consideration because I wish I had...
