Baborrito is a hidden gem for Mexican food enthusiasts in Hamburg! My friends and I decided to explore the local scene, and we stumbled upon this fantastic spot. From burritos to tacos and quesadillas, every dish we tried was a burst of authentic Mexican flavors.

The restaurant's decor, inspired by Dia de Los Muertos, adds a vibrant and culturally rich touch to the dining experience. It truly feels like a slice of Mexico, despite being thousands of miles away.

The staff was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and went the extra mile to make our visit enjoyable. As Americans exploring Hamburg, we appreciated the use of proper ingredients and even found the rarity of authentic tequila in Europe.

Although the margaritas were slightly on the sweet side for my taste, they still captured the essence of what you'd expect in the USA or Mexico. Keep in mind that the establishment operates on a cash-only basis, but this didn't pose an issue for us.

This small, charming Mexican restaurant impresses on all fronts. The food is simply outstanding and authentic – from hearty tacos to delicious nachos, everything is freshly made with a lot of love. The flavors are intense, and the ingredients are always fresh, making each dish a culinary delight.

The only downside is the limited seating, which can make it challenging to get a table spontaneously. However, this also adds to the exclusivity of the experience. Once you've secured a spot, you can fully enjoy the cozy and intimate ambiance.

Authentic Mexican food and vibe, despite being half a planet away from Mexico.

The staff were friendly to us, as Americans exploring Hamburg. They had proper ingredients (and even proper tequila which is a rarity in Europe), and all the dishes were delightful.

The margaritas were tasty, albeit maybe slightly too sweet for my taste, but still well within what I would expect within the USA or Mexico.

The business was (at least at the time) cash only. But thankfully we had some Euro € in our pockets, so not a problem.

Seating is extremely limited, only maybe 5 tables total. But the atmosphere is great, the wall art and decorations all fit the bill. I was pleasantly surprised on all accounts.
