CENTRAL — Restaurant in Hamburg

Myself and my husband have just returned home after a fantastic stay in central bel etage.|| This small hotel (5 rooms I believe) only opened in july 2018, and is an incredibly relaxing place to stay. It's situated above a restaurant (we heard absolutely zero noise, and no food smells, for those of you who may be concerned about that!) and super close to the main train station (2-3mins flat walk). ||We were greeted by a lovely, happy man who showed us to our room, explained all controls etc and left us to settle in. The room was beautiful (room 4, 2 flights of stairs with no lift, but very manageable) a huge (and exceptionally comfortable) bed, lots of great cushions and pillows, a mini fridge, hairdryer, and little bits and bobs to make things easy (hair spray bubble bath, lovely fluffy towels) and atmospheric lighting - clearly an awful lot of thought and effort had gone into making the place feel homely. A large walk in wardrobe, small balcony facing into a courtyard, flat screen tv with Netflix, and ensuite bathroom (with a fab power shower) topped things off nicely. We had a great time in Hamburg (stayed here 4 nights) and would thoroughly recommend this as an excellent conveniently located and peaceful place to stay. The attention to detail was second to none - lighting, cleanliness, treats left in our room, and even beautiful rituals reed diffusers to add to the atmosphere, making our stay one to remember. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Hamburg (so much to see and do, we'll certainly be back!) Thank you Central...

This is a hidden gem, priced well and close to Hamburg Hbf. Perfect for couples or families (not for babies, but children who can walk up stairs is ok). We booked the family room on top floor with own terrace. This would be great for family with older children or couple. Sep room for kids, plus bonus storeroom space which really could fit anther kid, plus room for luggage, small fridge. Has bath and sep shower. |Plenty of space, extremely quiet, many restaurant Within easy reach. No elevator, 2 floors, about 40 steps to reach top. What a wonderful Host as well, very friendly and helpful. Surprised us with cherry cake. The bonus surprise for us was the orange juicer in our room. I ended up ordering one online for our own home. Plenty of free oranges to squeeze. Really...
