This cozy coffee place is located 5 min away from the Hamburg train station. The atmosphere is modern and very welcoming, including sofas and benches outside (lovely if it is sunny). It is what I usually call a hipster caffee :) They also have a nice room inside for big groups.
The staff was very friendly and they spoke English which it is appreciated especially for expats and tourists. The service was delivered within a reasonable time considering that we were 6 people.
Food was average good. Despite they offer a good range of e.g., cheese, drinks and jams, I was missing some further options on bread buns and omelettes for example. I ordered bread with turkey, avocado, jam, boiled egg and scrambled eggs. Bread was clearly old so I would suggest to offer freshly baked bread to improve the customer experience. Eggs tasted good but they were dry. Portions were okay-ish. Pancakes were veery good - the highlight of the breakfast definitely.
It was a pleasant breakfast experience in general, highlighting the service and the pancakes. I strongly believe the owners will address positively those few things missing to make it a 5 star place and make totally worth the money you pay....

The positive things about this place are the bread, the sofa and vegan options included in the menu.
Everything else around the breakfast is a total train wreck: you gonna pay 20 euros for a set containing bad coffee, bad food and bad service. Classic tourist trap!
Get ready for a terrible service with an inexplicable long waiting time. All of this to receive a plate with miserable slices of mediocre charcuterie with poor, ugly assembled vegetables and fruits.
The staff also made several mistakes during our stay:
served us someone else’s food; served food that lacked few items; cold fried eggs (!!!) with destroyed overcooked yolk (yikes)
Special mention: besides the eggs, the rest of it was just cold food which mysteriously took 40 minutes to be served.
This place is a totally overhyped, overpriced. Just sad. Do yourself a favor and just buy some ham, cheese and bread rolls at the nearest...
Read moreGreat restaurant for brunch. Note that you should have reservation if you wanna sit inside the restaurant. If you will come early in the morning there is still chance that thete will be free tables outside the restaurant but inside all tables are mostly fully booked. Anyway about the food and drinks: we tried chail latte and it was really large cup as it’s visible in the pic, it was really tasty they use lots of milk and the biscuit on top is delicious. Then we ordered the variation of 4 meals and it was enough big breakfast so no need go for the 6...
