Asia OM — Restaurant in Hamburg

Ordered the tofu pad thai noodles. Generous portion size and plenty of tofu, which has a wonderful taste and texture. Didn't taste as good as the pad thai I had in Thailand, but it was pretty close!! Lots of peanuts and lime to squeeze on top. Definitely the best pad thai I have had in Germany. For €14 it's a bit on the expensive side, but I was very full and satisfied afterwards. You pay for the high quality of cooking. Lovely friendly staff - our waiter chatted to us and was patient when we took forever choosing our drinks. Honestly not really asian food. It looks alright but it lacks the taste of asia, we ordered a pad thai and it had none of the essentials that makes it taste well. Zero taste of sweetness (palmsugar) and no depth (from fish sause). The chicken in it also lacked flawor.

We also ordered tempura, which was alright. But the wontons are not really wontons either and the filling was almost not existant. The place was not to busy and we put our cuttlery together and after 35 minutes we had to go inside to ask to pay.

One of my favourite asian restaurant in Hamburg. The service is fast and the server is super kind. Food? THE BEST NOODLE IN TOWN. I ordered a noodle dish with shrimp and it was shrimp fiesta in my plate. Also recommend the fried rice, mango salad with crispy duck, hot plate dishes, well basically just order the entire menu.

Location wise, it is located near the Hamburg central station, so its really strategic. And credit card payment is available #nice. Place is clean and cozy.
