Chingu Winterhude – Modern Korean Food in Mühlenkamp Hamburg — Restaurant in Hamburg

Chingu's not a new Restaurant for me. I've been in Chingu Center Station, had some Meeting in Chingu near by St. Pauli. Last night, I experienced something new, an extraordinary meal from a singularly unexpected source, more than just Korean Chicken, Korean Food. First thing first of course are the look. I have to admit, Chingu brings us always the best concept. The decor are good, some people would feel, that the Restaurant is small, but it is and always should be cosy and comfortable. The menu is nice, and very detail. Price for me is suitable for meal and drinks. I oder the Cocktail mixed by Rhum and Butterfly pea tea, easy to drink. I tried "the beef", which i'd say perfect mix of the Korean and Westen. Steak is small cuts and very mouth watering, combine with sauce and side dishes. Eating korean salad with sauce and biting steak, just absolutely delicious ! For dessert, I tried Matcha Tiramisu. Very Tasty. For a second i asked where did they buy it. But knowing it is homemade, wow, incredible. The Staffs are very friendly, thank you Nghia for a great evening. I will be returning to Chingu...

Eben Neueröffnung - schon proppenvoll und laut. Hat Winterhude auf ein koreanisches Restaurant gewartet? Ich weiß nicht, vermutlich schon. Wir auf jeden Fall. Obwohl ohne Reservierung, wurde uns ein Tisch für knapp zwei Stunden angeboten. Also ran an die Karte und zügig bestellen. Schade - koreanisches Bier vom Fass gibt es (noch) nicht. Das Essen kommt schnell und macht den typischen Eindruck: Bunt, vielfältig und gut gewürzt. Das Schweinefleisch ist süß und saftig. Die Hähnchenschlegel sind knusprig paniert. Die fehlerhaft gelieferte Beilage wird flugs ausgetauscht. Der Kimchi ist super. Trotzdem sind wir nicht 100% zufrieden. Schwer zu sagen, warum. Lags am fehlenden Bier, am Lärm oder am wenigen Platz. Ich denke, das wird sich schon eingrooven, wenn das Team eingespielt ist und bei wärmeren Wetter auch draußen serviert wird. Angeschlossen ist die Ramenbar "Kazu" . Da sind wir ganz neugierig und werden bald hingehen. Bitte auch die Bewertung zum "Kazu" beachten. 3.2.25/15Uhr: Mittagstisch bis 16Uhr - das probieren wir doch gleich mal aus. Bibimbap mit Tofu (€11,5) - reichliche und schön abgeschmeckte Portion. Chingu Chicken Combo mit Kimchi und Reis: Die extrem knusprigen Chicken Wings mit süßlich scharfer Chilisauce machen umgehend süchtig. Der Kimchi ist schon gut fermentiert. We went there due to a friend's invite and we loved it! You need to have a reservation at least now when everybody wants to go there, for instance we went there on Monday night and it was packed around 19h00, luckily we had a reservation and everything works pretty smoothly.

Food is amazing, the personnel are incredible and I won't regret visiting such a restaurant. I have nevertheless been to Korea but certainly after visiting here I got the desire to go...
