Die Eisbande — Restaurant in Hamburg

I came here today and must say, while the ice cream was decent, I was taken aback by the way the staff treated a customer in front of me. The guy asked politely as the waitress let half his portion slip out of the waffle cone and tried to serve it to him anyway. Instead of acknowledging their mistake they dismissed the complaint in a very rude way and just walked away from the counter!

So, if you don't care about the way they treat their customers, it might be ok. But if you are like me, you'll find a great alternative just minutes away closer to Neuer...

This cute ice cream shop offers a nice variety of vegan flavors with vegan waffle cones as well as Xylit based ice cream and waffle cones.

Their best flavor was based on the Snickers snack, containing caramel, chocolate and peanut butter. However, they named it with a culturally insensitive name that I could not pronounce, so I had to awkwardly point on it with my finger...

5.20 € für zwei winzig kleine Kugeln unspektakulärem Eis, inklusive unfreundlicher Behandlung…

Ich zahle gerne für gute Qualität aber bei 2.60 € pro Kugel, für mikroskopisch kleine Portionen, hört der Spaß auch echt irgendwann auf. Das ist dann nicht mehr nur „Qualität hat ihren Preis“ sondern einfach nur noch Abzocke!

An der Tafel steht zwar überall was von 1.70 € und ich dachte mir „ach, das geht ja noch“ - tatsächlich kosten aber alle halbwegs spannenden Eissorten weitaus mehr. Wenn man schon so tief in die Tasche greift sollte man aber zumindest etwas mehr als nur jeweils ne halbe Kugel erwarten können. Als ich die Mitarbeiterin dann darauf ansprach gab es nur ein mega unfreundliches und ruppiges „Ich diskutier da jetzt auch gar nicht mit Ihnen!“ und es gab bei einer Sorte noch nen weiteren winzigen Klecks dazu.

Wiederkommen werde ich hier auf jeden Fall nicht mehr - das Eis war ohnehin nicht so spektakulär als das es sich lohnen würde! Da ist z.B. Luciella‘s um...
