Fantastic gem in Hamburg! Incredibly tasty food, cooked to perfection and served beautifully. We were so caught up in the food that we forgot to take pictures, thus the photos show half-eaten plates already! Suffice to say that they were all very empty by the end. The service is excellent, with all staff being very helpful and friendly. We never felt like we were being pressured, but there was always someone near when needed. Perfect balance! The menu is straight forward (which is a good thing), without overwhelming one with too many choices. We tried virtually every dish, and it was all incredibly tasty! I am looking forward to seeing what they come up with next. Give the cocktails a shot as well. Some inventive options, with very interesting flavours! Thanks for a wonderful evening, we will definitely be back!

Cozy modern place with no-fuss, delicious food. We especially loved the pulpo starter! The staff is extremely friendly. Fine, exquisite dining, creative dishes in a relaxed Kiez atmosphere. They have one vegan, one veggie, one fish, and one meat option per course. All options sounded delicious

Mein neues Lieblingsrestaurant in Hamburg | ein rundum schöner Abend Als wir vorletzte Woche mit ein paar Freundinnen im Fritzis waren, waren wir alle hellauf begeistert! Es hat einfach alles gepasst - von A wie Alkoholika (ich kann den Ginger Spritz sehr empfehlen! Lecker!), über E wie Essen (wir hatten leckeren Käse, Oliven, Zwiebeln und Brot als Vorspeise und einen zum daniederknienden Skrei mit Kartoffelpüree und Sosse. Überragend lecker!), I wie Interior Design (Retro-chic Style, und sie hatten sogar Bücher von Andy Warhol und David Bowie), bis hinzu S wie Service (die Bedienung - falls man das so noch sagen darf - war super nett, entspannt, aufmerksam, haben sich Mühe gegeben. Ganz toll!). Somit hatten wir einen rundum schönen Abend! Ich kann das Fritzis uneingeschränkt empfehlen, da alles gepasst hat! Danke schön! Wir kommen wieder!

My daughter and I went back to Fritzlis and it was as good as I remembered when I left this review 18 months ago. Most definitely our destination of choice in Hamburg, apart from hot competition from its sister restaurant Krug!

Inventive food--delicious and not overwrought, just right--and attentive service. Favorite spot in Hamburg.
