Skurrilum St.Pauli — Attraction in Hamburg

Came to Hamburg especially for this Escape Room, and it not disappoint. We did have the wailing woman booked, but they have a temporary problem with that so we had to pick something else. We went to two of them, the Grotte - where we did not pay attention and booked the room even though it was in German (none of us speak German 😅), but they were really nice and offered to give us our money back if we wanted or to play it with the help of the game master when it was in German. Julien did an amazing job, and he really immersed us in the story. The next day we went to the Zoo and it was absolutely incredible. We loved all the mechanics and the details of the room. Evie was our game master here and thankfully she did not have to interact with us during the room too much, but she was amazing as well. All in all, a great experience. Hopefully we’ll come back for the wailing...

My first escape room, so much better and so different from what I expected. Brilliantly detailed and really well thought out. Lots of fun and excitement!! I can get a bit claustrophobic, but it was no problem at all because I was so engrossed in the story and trying to figure out the next clue. Our “guide” was also really nice and assured me that I could come out at any time, which I didn’t need to at all. I thoroughly recommend it with family as we did or a group of friends. Fantastic!! Skurrilum ist ein Ort der Wunder! Mag übertrieben klingen, aber jeder leidenschaftliche Escapee, der hier gespielt hat, sollte das nachvollziehen können. Wirklich, die Räume hier sind außerordentlich in Szene gesetzt. Rätsel und Kulisse so überzeugend und originell, dass sie einem den Atem rauben. So viele Gimmicks, die ich noch nie irgendwo anders gesehen habe. So viel Liebe zum Detail. Jeder Raum hat uns gefallen und mitgerissen. Während die Phantominsel ein guter Starterraum ist und eine schöne Szenerie bietet, gehts dann direkt ganz hochprozentig weiter. Malvinis Vermächtnis ist mit ABSTAND das beste und am aufwändigsten gestaltete Einraumspiel, das ich je erleben durfte. Erleben ist bei Skurrilum generell ein gutes Stichwort. Die Games bieten nicht nur Rätselspaß, sie überzeugen mit einer immersiven Erfahrung der Extraklasse. Man hat hier die Möglichkeit, für eine Stunde nicht nur einen einfachen Escape Room zu betreten, sondern in eine andere Welt zu tauchen. Guschis geile Grotte hat uns große Freude bereitet und ist ein Qualitätsgame mit sehr hohem Spaßfaktor. Nichts für Spießer! 👀😂 Was uns aber wirklich sprachlos zurückgelassen hat, sind die Räume um Ernie Hudson - die weinende Frau und der Zoo des Todes. Phantastisch. Hier hat man ganz klar die Königsklasse in Deutschland erreicht. Unglaublich, ich kann es bis heute nicht fassen, was Skurrilum mit diesen Räumen auf die Beine gestellt hat. Ich möchte allen Spielern diese Games ans Herz legen und lege meine Hand dafür ins Feuer, dass sie nicht enttäuschen werden. Ein großes Danke auch an all unsere Game Master und besonders an Sam. Es war eine mega coole Zeit bei und mit euch. Die Fahrt hat sich gelohnt....
