Pretty average overall. There are inconsistencies with the food quality as sometimes I order the sushi and its great (you can never go wrong with salmon) but sometimes I would get nigiri with the rice squashed together like a bullet. I don't expect too much from an all you can eat place.
Some things are great like the cooked lamb, salmon nigiri, cooked shrimp and clams but there are some awful thing there too... DO NOT GET: teriyaki salmon (overcooked, and served with a weird sauce which tastes EXACTLY like big mac sauce from mcdonalds) Calamari (ridiculous. it had so many layers of deep fried batter i couldn't find the actual calamari. I couldnt finish it becase 90% of it was just batter) Any Noodle Soup (I was literally served a watered down soup with only 1.5 NOODLE(S). its kinda like eating the leftover bits in someone else's udon) icecream (both the black sesame and matcha were strange- didnt taste authentic at all. Black sesame had chunky black seeds like a hamburger bun, and the matcha tasted like a literal perfume)
The vibe of the restaurant was interesting. I was questioning whether we were in nightclub,- but i wouldnt say that would be bad ahahha I have a theory that there's just one chef letting it down, because half the time...
Read moreAll you can eat, japanese-asian food tapas concept, for 25€ plus extras, to be ordered with an IPad. In case not willing the flat rate with extras is it possible to order the tapas one by one, this time by writing them in a piece of paper. This innovative way of ordering end up with one ordered but not served tapa from 7 ordered, and no detailed bill explaining what was charged and what not.
The place is big, it looks like some investment in decoration but unfortunately the basics are not well resolved : chairs are a bit too small for the tables. In the toilet there are some boxes with things I would never use in public toilets. There was a selection of chilling electronic music quite acceptable interrupted by the barman using the mixer for doing cocktails.
About the food, we ordered two different soups, the tuna tataki, some makis, the pat choy, some rice and the chicken teriyaki. Everything was well cooked/prepared. But of course as it is a tapas concept quantities were quite small. We paid 22€, when I arrived home I had a big dessert.
It was monday, so the place was quite empty. The service was attentive and trying to be very nice. I do not know what could happen in a fully...
Read moreI don‘t even know where to start. The interior sucks, you feel like you‘re sitting in someones basement. We got food from our first round in the third one. We had to keep asking every two minutes because they kept forgetting to bring us stuff or they were bringing things we didn‘t order. At the end of it all we got so lost we stopped checking what was one the table and just kept eating whatever was there. The food itself wasn‘t special at all. Some things were delivered cold and some super hot (btw we sat right next to the kitchen). The first thing I ordered was tuna sashimi and guess what! It was bad (meaning - spoiled) and when we told the waiter about it he said he will take care of it and that meant he came back after couple of minutes and said 'just don‘t order it anymore'. Prices are crazy, 34 euros for such a circus and you have to pay drinks and sauces extra? Waiters don‘t acknowledge you ,no one came to check if everything was fine, every single little plate was brought by a different person (they don‘t even look at you when they put plates in front of you, they do it on the fly) .. this place is definitely lacking a nice cozy atmosphere... as well as competent staff and...
