Beware of a scam I was subjected to in this place.
I ordered a Beyti Kebap and an Ayran which, at the time I ate diner there on 2023/09/25, costed 21,90 and 2,90 respectively. However, instead of the total 24,80 € I should have been charged, I was asked to pay 33,8 € due to an extra 8 € "Auslagen" item that, according to the waiter, covered a big salad I received as an appetizer along bread and some sauces. Also according to him, another small quantity coming from some "tax" was added to reach the 33,8 €.
However, checking and translating their online menu later, it turns out that the salad, the sauces and the bread I got as appetizers were supposed to be included as part of the 21,9 € Beyti Kebap dish, so the vague 8 € item (Auslagen translates literally to "Expenses" in English) and the small 1 € tax are completely made up charges they decided to add out of whim.
Unfortunately, I didn't ask for a copy of the receipt before leaving (I was shown a version of it on some app at the restaurant), so everything I can do now is to warn other foreign tourists in Hamburg to avoid this place and be vigilant of others that might try to employ the same modus operandi to overcharge them.
A real pity, because this incident aside the food was actually good and generous in size (I would've gladly paid the 33,8 € without complaints if it matched the real prices), but 1 star is what they deserve for resorting to such dishonest and...

Read moreI have to explain everything below, BUT this restaurant is unreasonably overpriced. Why would an adana kebab is 21euro? Even bulgur is not served with it, I didn’t have that, but choose a mixed teller, i think it’s for 29euro. Plus water and coke cost like 37 and you give tips. I just feel like this is unfair.
Now; -The atmosphere is lovely and lively, and not very overcrowded and noisy. -The service is good. I wish just the waiter/waitress didn’t appear to be in too much rush when talking to me and taking my order. This is because there were a couple of even empty tables. When it’s packed, it’s justified but still more attention is needed, in my humble opinion. The food is quite good. The Kebab could be improved, I have had i can claim much tastier and richer. But in...
