The decoration is cute but the temperature was freezing inside making it uncomfortable. The music does not fit the theme. The gulasch soup was ok. The tomato soup was possibly the worst soup I've had. I would prefer the packets from Knorr to this. I asked the waitress if it was a cream of tomato soup. She said no but that it was creamy. Well it wasn't creamy at all, but spicy. My husband said it tasted like pasta sauce. The woman next to us also was complaining about her soup. Probably the same base as the gulasch soup. We had the fried camembert too as an appetizer but they served it with our meals. It was ok, but honestly it is impossible to screw up fried camembert. We asked the waitress where Holsten beer was from. She said northern Germany, followed by Nordrhein-Westfalen. Turns out it is from Altona, Hamburg. Maybe learn about the products sold. The faucet in the women's bathroom was broken and there were no paper towels. When it was time to pay, the card reader wasn't working. We tried 3 different bank cards.

We had a very nice dinner here. Wonderful food, very tasty. Basically this is a very very noisy bar but it seams having a lot of clients. Good service (1 hour since we arrived till we left), fair prices , huge portions. I was a little afraid having bill problems as described by others but no, no error in our bill at the cent level. Next time i will be in Hamburg, i will not eat for a couple of days anything and come here to eat.

We visited the place to have lunch. AND IT WAS A DISASTER! We ordered a burger and a pizza. First of all the pizza was a frozen pizza. Topped with rocket salad and Parmesan! How can you run a business and serve that kind of “food” in a restaurant? It tasted like nothing - good thing they had salt, pepper and Tabasco..... The burger was.... an absolutely disaster! The mushroom sauce tasted like plastic and should probably have been thrown out a couple of weeks ago. The beef was sad, grey and not fresh at all. It tasted like death and was cooked terrible wrong! The kind of experience that makes you wanna go vegetarian... but then you would have to choose a frozen pizza. I don’t even wanna mention the “fries” We told the waitress that it wasn’t good - she told us that we should have told her earlier cause then we could have chosen something else from the menu. Like that would have made a difference..... After some time she offered us one (!) small beer (2,80 euro) on the house.. When we payed she even tried to make tips from us, by not giving us money back. The whole setup was weird - terrible loud music, impolite lazy waitresses. While waiting for the small beer I looked through the kitchen opening and saw “friends” of the house going in and out around the kitchen with their jackets on talking to the chefs. WORST 29 EURO I HAVE EVER SPEND! Don’t visit this...

I have been a frequent visitor to your pub/restaurant and have always been a big fan of your delicious tomato soup and authentic German food like schnitzel and fries. I have recommended your establishment to my friends and family for a long time, and they have always been impressed with the quality of the food and the authentic environment and good vibes.

However, my recent experiences with the waiters have been concerning. I have noticed that they have become impatient and disrespectful, which has left me feeling like they are only interested in taking advantage of me for financial gain rather than providing a service that would make me a happy permanent customer. It has reached a point now that I recently have had to pay for a mistake they made in the bill rather than correcting their mistake.

As a customer, I believe that it's important to be treated with respect and provided with a high level of service. While the food at your establishment is excellent, the recent decline in customer service is a cause for concern. I hope that you can address this issue and ensure that your customers are provided with the best possible experience...
