A cozy bar close to Hamburg’s beautiful Alster in the chic, peaceful, and upscale neigh-bourhood of Winterhude. Unfortunately, the menu only includes two dishes (“Flammku-chen” and “Pizza”, no dessert!). Also, the drinks menu is somewhat limited in scope and does not include the bar classics such as a Manhattan. The overall atmosphere is relatively relaxed and edgy. War Samstag mit einer Freundin um die Außenalster spazieren und haben uns jeweils ein Getränk to go mitgenommen. Es gab extra ein Schild, wo gewartet werden soll, wenn man to go möchte - leider wurden wir dort aber nicht beachtet. Ich arbeite selbst in der Gastro und weiß wie es manchmal ist, aber ein kurzes zu nicken oder ein "kleinen Moment" hätten wir uns gewünscht. Leider war das dann noch nicht alles - nachdem wir unsere Bestellung aufgeben durfte, kam eine Mitarbeiterin zum kassieren und ein wenig später eine Kollegin mit den Getränken. Dass man mal gefragt wird, ob man bereits bezahlt hat, kann ich auch noch mit leben, aber wenn ich nochmal gefragt werde, ob wir auch wirklich schon bezahlt hätten und ob wir uns sicher seien (und nein, es kam nicht wie ein Späßchen rüber), dann fühle ich mich als Gast (auch wenn "nur" für to go) nicht ernstgenommen und nicht erwünscht. Sitting at the cafe terrace on a nice sunny day is simply lovely, with nice view of the Außenalster and have some cold drinks. The Flammkuchen is delicious as well. Friendly staff.

Unfortunately the toilet is not so clean...
