BBQ-The Finest Steakhouse GmbH — Restaurant in Hanover

RUDE AND SLOW STAFF! I made the reservations a month before for my husband's birthday and When we got there the table they sat us at was not even poorly sat, as the lighter for the candles was still on the table. We ignored that, and wait for about 10 min and no one came to bring the menu, even though the waitress passed us 15 times! The place was not full and besides our table there were only another 5 tables to deserved and most of them already eating. We had to ask for the menu to be brought to our table and the waitress did so,but saying she was already on her way (clearly not) and gave us the men as if she was doing us a favour! Waited another 10 minutes and she didn't even come back to collect the other gr8 drinks or anything....So we decided to leave and on the way out she was came to us with a confused face asking what was going on, we said that it was to much waiting even to get to order the drinks, instead of apologizing she said the house was full (with 5 TABLES! )! Shame because the food looked promising but not worthy the wait or...

Sometimes you stumble upon great restaurants, tucked away in towns. This was such a place. A colleague and I wanted to find somewhere to eat after travelling in Hannover and the recommended restaurants were full. So we thought we would give this one a chance. The name of the place was slightly off putting as we thought it may be part of a mediocre chain.

However on arrival we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of meat on offer. I ordered the Irish steak...I thought I had made the right choice in medium to well done. After the waiter took my order, about 10 mins later the chef appeared.

He advised that the meat would be better served medium at a core temperature of 51. I agreed to it and my word, I have never tasted such a beautiful, well cooked and flavourful steak. No blood dripping from the cut steak, just right for me, slightly pink.

I was even more delighted with the fact that the restaurant will be moving to central Hannover in September or October. So I can sample the excellent food on offer...

Location 5/5 Das Restaurant befindet sich im Zentrum der Stadt, aber nicht an der Hauptstraße und ist deshalb ruhig und gemütlich. Sie werden überhaupt nicht von Autos oder ähnlichem gestört. Wir waren Samstag von 20-23Uhr dort! 10min zu Fuß zum Hbf besser geht nicht! —- Essen 5/5 Vor 3 Tagen habe ich zum ersten Mal eine Tomahawk-Steak in einem anderen(!) Restaurant in Wolfsburg probiert und es war eine schreckliche Erfahrung für mich. „BBQ - The Finest Steakhouse“ macht deinem Namen alle Ehre! Mein Mann bestellte ein Tomahawk-Steak, ich bestellte Ribeye, meine Schwiegermutter ein Rumpsteak. Es war äußerst lecker, genauso wie die anderen Steaks. Ich kann behaupten, dass sie das beste vom besten waren! —- Service 5/5 Die Dame, die unseren Tisch bediente war äußerst aufmerksam, höflich und professionell. Sie fragte uns, ob wir noch einen Wunsch hätten, ein Dessert. Meine Schwiegermutter hatte sich bereits auf die Panna-Cotta gefreut, aber nachdem sie ihr Steak gegessen hatte, keinen Platz mehr für ein Dessert. Nach 5min bekam sie eine kleine Portion Panna-Cotta zum verkosten, als kleine Aufmerksamkeit des Hauses. Die Portion war perfekt. Die Größe und da meine Schwiegermutter ihr Lieblingsdessert hatte und geschmacklich vollkommen überzeugt! Ein weiterer glücklicher Kunde! —- Der Besitzer des Restaurants ist der coolste Typ! Auf unsere Nachfrage zur Beratung welches Steak ich nehmen sollte. Wollte die nette Bedienung uns das Fleisch zeigen und erklären, dies übernahm dann sogar der Chef persönlich. Er erklärte ausführlich den Unterschied zwischen Rumpsteak, Ribeye, welches Stück wo zu finden ist und je nach welchem Geschmack welche Eigenschaften dem Stück zuzusprechen sind. Hervorragend! Einen solchen Service habe ich bisher noch nicht erlebt. Das Fleisch vor dem Braten zu begutachten, sich selbst von der Qualität und der Frische des Fleisches zu überzeugen. Absolut top! Er steckt offensichtlich seine eigenes können aber auch seine Leidenschaft in sein Restaurant und sein unbestreitbares Können in die Zubereitung der Steaks! Die Zufriedenheit seiner Kunden mit den servierten Speisen, aber auch das Gesamtergebnis liegt im ganz klar am Herzen(!) Ich garantiere Ihnen, Sie werden das BBQ nicht unzufrieden verlassen! Wenn Sie selbst gerne Rinder-Steak essen, dann ist dies ihr Anlaufpunkt in der Stadt, ich würde sogar sagen in der Region! Mein Mann war in den letzten ca. 6 Jahren zu verschiedenen Gelegenheiten, mit Kollegen, Freunden und der Familie sowohl in Waldhausen, als auch in der neuen Location... und er war immer äußerst zufrieden!

Ich wünsche dem BBQ, seinem Besitzer und den Leuten die dort arbeiten(!), nur das beste weiterhin viel Erfolg! Leute die mit so viel Professionalität und Passion sowohl für das Produkt, als auch für ein solch tolles Erlebnis für den Kunden agieren und auftreten, haben Erfolg und Anerkennung verdient. Grüße...
