Die Tacoria — Restaurant in Hanover

I am from the US. From Arkansas, which has plenty of Tex Mex food.

The restaurant design is good and the theme is appealing to a younger crowd. Bathrooms are clean. I was there on a Tuesday and it kind of sucks that the taco Tuesday deal is only from 16:00 until 18:00.

The tacos that we ordered were tasty and I would recommend them. The Nachos we ordered were unfortunately not very tasty. The chili con carne mix isn't the best. It needs more tomato or tomato paste because the mix is too dark. Needs more red coloring to look good. adding carrots, peas, and green beans isn't common in chili con carne, but tasted okay.

The Nachos were prepared lazily. They should be layered and covered evenly. The cook put too many chips on plate and only a little of the mixture and cheese.

Like I said, Layer it! Small bed of chips, mixture, more chips, mixture and cheese.

Also, Paprika Chips are common in Germany but one would never see it in Texas. Plain salted tortilla would taste better and also look better in my opinion.

Craving tacos. Went there bc the photos looked great! Atmosphere was lovely. It was packed ( good sign) so we sat outside but it started to rain. When a table emptied, another couple who came after us grabbed the seats. Asked the staff if we can have the next empty table and they saved it for us. Very nice.

Ordered the collection tacos, chili, chicken, tuna, and veggie tacos. And a el pastor. The tacos were not good. Chicken taco was extremely bland. With the tuna taco I was expecting a fish taco with tuna and it was just not good . The veggie taco was what I expected from a veggie only taco. the chili con carne taco was decent but weird that it had peas in it. I wish it had meat in it, if it had meat in it, I couldn’t tell. The el pastor taco was ok in taste but the texture was just mushy warm pineapple. That was all the tacos they offered, was looking for a more traditional line up, at least a carne asada.

Had me a corona, nice and cold. My friend noticed how good it looked, ordered himself one, took almost 10 minutes to get and it was warm.

Ich habe für meine Partnerin und mich einen Tisch für 2 reserviert. Beim reinkommen frage der Kellner also "Für 2?" und fing an uns in den Raum zu führen Richtung Fenster. Als ich antwortete, dass es für 2 sein sollte und ich auch reserviert habe, ging es rapide bergab. Plötzlich war es der Tisch, der im Grunde im Flur steht. Ein anderer war auch auf Nachfrage und einer internen Diskuission der beiden Kellener doch nicht zu haben da sie diese noch brauchen würden, aber wir könnten wechseln, wenn da keiner mehr käme. Also geht Laufkundschaft offenbar vor Kunden, die reserviert haben. Einige freie Tische waren ja vorhanden und als Laufkundschaft wollte man uns einen anderen geben. Außerdem sind einige der Tische (auch unserer) gar nicht wirklich zum essen geeignet. Ist eher eine Art Coutschtisch. Da sitzt sind man mit ziemlich viel Sicherheitsabstand vom Tisch weg. An unserem Tisch endete im übrigen auch die Schlange der Lieferando- und sonstigen Lieferanten, die schön mit 10 cm Abstand auf uns herabschauen und an den Gesprächen teilnehmen konnten. Ein bisschen Durchzug tat sein übriges. Nach 20 Sekunden Probesitzen sind wir wortlos gegangen. Keine Ahnung was da los war, aber da wo ich veräppelt werde, bleibe ich nicht. - Das Essen hatte wir früher schon mal via Lieferservice bestellt, aber nach der Nummer ist auch Bestellen dort...
