The staff here are really great, attentive and friendly.

We had the carpaccio, and then the pizza Francesca.

The carpaccio was perfect. Not too cold and well presented, with loads of rocket, reduction of balsamic and parmesan. The bread on the side seemed to be offcuts of pizza dough and I need to be very clear that this is not a complaint. It was delicious.

The pizza Francesca was generous in terms of toppings and came with a good amount of very nice cheese, too. For me personally the tomato sauce was a little sweet, but that's very much a matter of personal preference.

We sat outdoors, and it was very pleasant (June). The street is relatively quiet, and it's a familiar scene to anyone who eats out in European cities.

We finished off with a limoncello for the road, which sadly came with ice in it. We would have preferred either the limoncello or glasses to be kept in the freezer before serving, as this avoids getting your limoncello all watery, but it was tasty regardless.

All in all, a great experience with very decent food being held up by truly top tier service. One of the best pizza places...

We are big fans of the Fancesca & fratelli restaurants as we love their pizzas. We went to their location in the List last night for the first time. We arrived at 21h30 as we had just landed back in Hanover and were immediately told that we COULD eat something but needed to leave by 22h because they were closing by that time. There were several tables taken and costumers eating. We should have immediately left but we decided to stay as the kids were hungry. We were told they did not have dinkel dough anymore and had to order normal pizzas. The food came quickly and was good as usual, but the service was unfortunately not friendly. We had to gulp down our pizzas and in the middle of it the waitress came with the check asking us to pay so that they could close the register. I don't think we ever had such stressful and rude service. We left feeling sick from having to eat so quickly and will NEVER return to the List location. The management should be more present and supervise their List team. It was Thursday night, it was not that late, but all costumers had to flee because the waiters wanted to...

Leider gar nicht gut! Okay, wir haben die "Frechheit" besessen, 20 Minuten vor Feierabend eine Pizza telefonisch zu bestellen. Die leicht gestöhnte Bemerkung: "Die Kasse ist schon zu, wir kassieren nur bar" (alle anderen Geschäfte möchten´s wegen Corona gern bargeldlos) hätte uns eine Warnung sein müssen, der Hunger war aber stärker. Aus unserem Flyer die Pizza Salame Picante für 9,00 Euro mit Extras (Artischocken, Pilze) in Summe für 11,00 Euro bestellt. Kurz zu Fuß über die Straße, das bereits abgedunkelte und menschenleere Geschäft in der Sedanstraße gegen 20.50 Uhr betreten. Freundlicher Mitarbeiter (oder Chef? Mir egal, ich hatte Hunger!) klärte mich darüber auf, dass die Pilze vergessen wurden. Preis dennoch 11,00 Euro (war der letzte weiße Flyer nach einem Jahr schon veraltet?). Habe keine Fragen zur gefühlten Preisdifferenz gestellt, sondern dankend bezahlt. Angesichts der Qualität, die ich dann nach zwei Minuten in der Küche präsentiert bekam, war ich froh, diesmal KEIN Trinkgeld gegeben zu haben. Der Teig war teilweise roh, teilweise übelst verbrannt, zudem schwappte eine unappetitliche dünnflüssige Fett/Fleischsuppe im Karton herum. No Go ! Als "Pizzamanufaktur" sollte man sich schämen, ein solch unwürdiges Produkt zu verkaufen -nicht einmal mit deutlichem Preisabschlag wäre die Pizza akzeptabel. Ganz ehrlich: Sagt doch einfach ab und macht dicht, wenn Euch eine Bestellung nicht in den Kram passt. Das wäre wenigstens konsequent gewesen und ich hätte anderswo bestellt. Zudem solltet Ihr Euch schämen, die vorherige negative Bewertung meiner Freundin einfach zu löschen, denn im Kern ist diese sachgerecht und entsprich der Wahrheit. Und wenn Ihr uns schon anruft, dann hinterlasst doch mal eine Nachricht (oder gar ein kleines Pardon??). Es sind zwar zweifellos harte Zeiten für Gastronomen, aber gleichbleibend hohe Qualität zu bieten, ist eine Frage des Charakters und der eigenen Ansprüche, gerade jetzt, wo es darauf ankommt.
