Reimanns Eck — Restaurant in Hanover

I was a fan of the pumpkin soup of this place. I am never going back there ever again. We visited this place tonight. Unfortunately we did a "mistake" of not making a reservation and even though hardly 3/4 of the restaurant was full. The waiter gave us an eye roll but gave us a seat. We should have left at the same moment but we thought maybe he is just stressed, we stayed. We quickly ordered food and after waiting for 40 minutes when the food didn't arrived, we asked them, and we were just given a very hostile, "we could not do anything" shoulder rug. We wanted to catch a movie so we very kindly asked if they could tell us how much time it would take or if would take a take away of our food. The very very rude waiter started yelling "Frierabend" at us. We told them we would like to cancel our order and that we will pay for our drinks. Again the rude waiter just angrily typed on the screen and told us we could leave. I can't understand how difficult could it be to be kind in this world. You have lost my business. Please learn...

We were in for dinner around 1900 and sat on the patio. We ordered fairly quickly after sitting down. We waited over an hour for our food to come watching people sit and then get there food even though they arrived long after we had ordered. Are waitress barely came around our table during this hour. Then when we got our food two of the dishes weren't what we had ordered and were luke warm. The waitress serving our table barely served us. There was no apology or explanation for the long wait or the food mix up. The only reaction was a shoulder shrug and an eye roll. Very good restaurant for proper German food. Somewhat expensive, but this is Hannover!

Don't be tricked in thinking that this is a pub, it might look like one at a first glance, but you'll quickly discover that it goes into fine dining: proper glasses and cutlery, plates with golden rifinitures, folded napkins.

The dishes are abundant and very tasty. Please make sure to try the soups as they are delicious, the pumpkin one over all! Presentation is on spot, so are the ingredients. The smoked pork chop was astounding, really.
