My Way Altstadt — Restaurant in Hanover

We visited the restaurant as a group of six on Saturday night around 11 PM. After being seated, we spent about five minutes looking through the menu before a waiter came to take our order. Unfortunately, his attitude was rather impatient and unfriendly, which immediately made us feel uncomfortable. When the drinks were brought out, the waiter literally placed a full tray of beverages on our table without an explanation or assistance. Only after we looked at him with confusion did he start to hand out the drinks, but by that point, we had already decided to do it ourselves. Of course, we would have been happy to help if he had asked politely, but the way it was handled felt dismissive and disrespectful.

We're not sure if this behavior was in any way discriminatory, as we are foreigners, but regardless of the reason, such service is unacceptable. This place has always been one of our favorites, and l've often recommended it to my friends. Apart from this particular waiter, the other staff members we've met before have always been friendly and welcoming. However, after this experience, I must say i’m deeply disappointed — not only as a customer but also as a person. I truly hope the management will take this feedback seriously and ensure that all guests are treated with respect...

Waited forever for our food (hamburgers). When it did come, I had to laugh. The top of the bun was grilled. The top. Not the inside where it should be toasted to hold up to the moisture from the burger. Needless to say, the burger quickly fell apart in my hands. And seriously, a cheeseburger should have the cheese melted on top. If you don't know what you are doing, don't do it. The fries were actually really good and crispy, and not tiny little fries. They were really good. It would have been nice, however, if we received more than one little packet of ketchup and mayo to go with all those fries. It would have also been nice if the waitress had come and asked how everything was and if we needed anything more. Had the service been better, we would have stayed for another beer. What a disappointing...

Das MY WAY in der Altstadt von Hannover bietet eine einladende Location und nice Musik lädt zum Wohlfühlen ein – und es gibt acht verschiedene Burger, alle inkl. Pommes!

Wir haben uns durch zwei Burger von der Karte probiert: Der Crispy Chicken Burger überzeugte mit einer leichten Panade, frischen Zutaten und einem Bun, das alles zuverlässig zusammenhält. Ein bisschen mehr Sauce hätte ihm jedoch gutgetan. Die Pommes dazu waren super knusprig, und Ketchup sowie Mayo gab es in Tuben direkt am Tisch – so viel man wollte! Der Cheeseburger hatte leider Schwächen: Das Patty war geschmacklich nicht ganz unser Fall, da der Fettanteil etwas unangenehm auffiel.

Besonders cool und erwähnenswert: Im Keller gibt es eine Event-Location, die man für Feiern buchen kann.
