I've walked past this place a couple of times this week and thought it would be a good place to eat. I went this evening and wow what an absolute treat it was. The atmosphere is extremely classy. The lighting and mood music set the scene and the service is very professional. The restaurant is a celebration of different steaks and I chose Rinderfleisch with chips and a hearty salad. The knife and fork were presented in a very fancy box and the steak was decorated with fine salad. The Krauterbutter I ordered came in a bowl of its own and they were very generous with the amount they served. The steak was cooked to perfection and the salad was a perfect accompaniment. I had two pints of Krombacher Weizen to wash the whole lot down. I highly highly recommend this place. They even have a grand piano in there!

I had a craving for meat and I wasn’t disappointed when I came to Blackbones on a whim with my fiancé. We were lucky to get a seat because we didn’t make a reservation haha. The service was great and the food was fantastic. My medium rare steak was on point. I had the blackpepper steak 🥩 which I loved but my fiancé felt that the peppers were over powering the meat for him. He had a dry aged flank steak, it was 👨‍🍳 💋. All in all would come back again (like for real we are going back with my fiancé’s family to celebrate a birthday) and would very much recommend to friend and family! 💕

Um den Abend mit gutem Essen zu beenden, haben wir uns entschieden dieses Steakhaus auszuprobieren. Eine Reservierung war spontan über das Telefon möglich. Optisch wirkt das Steakhaus von außen sowie innen sehr edel und schick. Die Mitarbeiter sind passenderweise auch sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die bestellten Getränke waren gut und auch die Vorspeisen ließen nicht lange auf sich warten. Die hausgemachte Gulaschsuppe meiner Begleitung war ein Traum, aber auch meine Caprese war sehr lecker. Da wir in einem Steakhaus zu Gast waren, haben wir natürlich auch alle ein Steak mit verschiedenen Beilagen, wie Kräuterbutter, Süßkartoffelpommes, Pfannengemüse, Ofenkartoffel und auch frische Wedges bestellt. Das Steak hat mir unglaublich gut geschmeckt und war auch, wie gewünscht, perfekt zubereitet. Mit den Beilagen hat es ein perfektes Zusammenspiel ergeben. Als Dessert haben wir uns noch ein Schokoladensoufflé geteilt, welches mich mehr als positiv überrascht hat. Ich vermute allerdings, dass dieses zu lange im Ofen war, da der Kern nicht so flüssig wirkte wie auf anderen Fotos in den Google Maps Rezensionen. Trotzdessen muss ich sagen, dass mir gerade weil der Kern eher cremig anstatt flüssig war mir das Soufflé aus diesem Grund so gut bzw. besser geschmeckt hat. Ich hätte mir allerdings mehr Vanilleeis gewünscht, wie auch auf anderen Fotos ersichtlich. Im Großen und Ganzen lässt sich nur sagen, dass jeder hier geschmackvolle Stunden erwarten kann und mit einem guten Gefühl das Steakhaus verlassen wird. Dieser Besuch wird auch nicht mein letzter gewesen sein.

Service was fine, we got seated fairly fast but I don't really think it's appropriate to talk about service during the covid. They are doing best they can. Now let's go straight to the meal. We had 3 steaks, 2 of them arrived as ordered, medium, 3rd ( mine) was medium well even though I ordered medium rare, but let's say it was the language barrier at play as I was speaking English. Meal as the whole was fine, medium well steak was surprisingly juicy and tender and it was not as bad as I expected it to be, my side were fries, I was expecting steak fries but all we got were normal fries, which was a bit disappointing but not an issue. The service was kind and really nice the atmosphere was a pretty nice place, except for the bathrooms they were really dark and i don't know if it was intentionally or they are broken. The main problem was the steak, i paid for a dry aged steak medium rare, it came rare, it just had a good crust but rare in the middle. They didn't said the amount of time it was dry aged or at least i didn't saw it/ understand it, but i dont think it was for a long time because it didn't tasted like dry aged to me. My companions had the same problem with their steak, it was never the doneness they wanted, we are not picky about it so we ate it anyways, but it is something to be noticed...
