BLACKBONES STEAKHOUSE — Restaurant in Heilbronn

I've walked past this place a couple of times this week and thought it would be a good place to eat. I went this evening and wow what an absolute treat it was. The atmosphere is extremely classy. The lighting and mood music set the scene and the service is very professional. The restaurant is a celebration of different steaks and I chose Rinderfleisch with chips and a hearty salad. The knife and fork were presented in a very fancy box and the steak was decorated with fine salad. The Krauterbutter I ordered came in a bowl of its own and they were very generous with the amount they served. The steak was cooked to perfection and the salad was a perfect accompaniment. Service was fine, we got seated fairly fast but I don't really think it's appropriate to talk about service during the covid. They are doing best they can. Now let's go straight to the meal. We had 3 steaks, 2 of them arrived as ordered, medium, 3rd ( mine) was medium well even though I ordered medium rare, but let's say it was the language barrier at play as I was speaking English. Meal as the whole was fine, medium well steak was surprisingly juicy and tender and it was not as bad as I expected it to be, my side were fries, I was expecting steak fries but all we got were normal fries, which was a bit disappointing but not an issue. The service was kind and really nice the atmosphere was a pretty nice place, except for the bathrooms they were really dark and i don't know if it was intentionally or they are broken. The main problem was the steak, i paid for a dry aged steak medium rare, it came rare, it just had a good crust but rare in the middle. They didn't said the amount of time it was dry aged or at least i didn't saw it/ understand it, but i dont think it was for a long time because it didn't tasted like dry aged to me. My companions had the same problem with their steak, it was never the doneness they wanted, we are not picky about it so we ate it anyways, but it is something to be noticed...
