We arrived about an hour before closing and were seated pretty quickly. The restaurant is set up where the kitchen is right in the center. It’s a pretty small space for the seating. And, there’s no tables set up outside. We ordered two beers from the menu and were told they don’t have their alcohol license. This is the only restaurant I’ve been to with no alcohol license. We ordered two gyoza and kimchi. They came out quickly and were both just okay. The ramen came out quickly as well. I had the chicken, it had a funny smell to it. The ramen was very gummy, there were only two very small pieces of chicken and there was no flavor to it at all. Another person at the table ordered the spicy ramen and said it was decent. And a third person ordered the beef ramen. He said it had more flavor, but was surprised it was ground beef. The service was fine, but we...

This is not the first time I have been here and was usually satisfied with the food quality and taste. This was not the most tasty ramen in my life, but it was OK. BUT summer heat brings some challenge to the kitchen and yesterday a part of my order was spoiled, probably by the heat. I was surprised that knowing there is 35'C around, there is no special control of the food quality which lifetime is cut twice by the summer heat. What surprised me even more - I received only "Sorry" and a soft smile from the staff... I asked to cross out the spoiled food from the receipt, but they told me it was impossible as the manager was not there... Poor legend, nice smile, bad food (this time). The atmosphere and design of this place are really good, but far ahead of the...

So far so good..what I have tried I have enjoyed. I have completed 2 visits so far. The appetizers are bigger than expected so be prepared. Also if you don't space out your orders properly, you will get all your food at once. I have had worse problems. The homemade ice teas I tried were pretty good. The spicy miso was good but of course not that spicy for here. The curry dish was different than I am used to but that could be the Japanese way, still it tasty. The chicken tender appetizer (forgot the name) was filling as a meal almost! I have not tried any desserts yet, but give it...

Cute ramen restaurant with surprisingly more seating in the back. I ordered the tonkatsu ramen with the lava egg. The broth was creamy and porky, but not as salty as I am used to like in Japan. They didn't have the shichimi togarashi powder if you want to add a little more spice, but they do have chili oil. The noodles were nice and chewy. They also take card. They speak English as well. They are the only Japanese ramen place I know in Kaiserslautern that actually serves soft boiled ramen eggs. Most places just give hard boiled.

(Visiting from USA) We just came here for dinner and were windly impressed! We’ve lived in Hawaii before and loved their ramen, but holy cow this place may beat it! We had the chicken gyoza and pork tonkatsu ramen! Lots of meat and so flavorful and rich! Service was a bit odd, there were a few servers and they were in such a rush they barely checked on us, you really have to flag them down if you need something, but they do open at 5pm and I’m sure got a huge flood of people at one time. Overall a great experience!
