Eiscafe Dolomiten — Restaurant in Kaiserslautern

The servers used to be more competent back in 2016 until 2020. Then the store was bought by another and the servers got less competent and the food became less tasteful.

I am really disappointed since I used to enjoy coming here with my family but now ordering takes forever and when we ask for certain things, they don't listen. The ice cream is also not as good anymore, but the waffles are still good. Even if they don't understand the utmost basic order for a solid 5 minutes. Sadly, I can't order here without not wanting to rip my prefrontal cortex out, so I will not be visiting frequently.

After we ordered waffles, I contemplated whether I wanted to even try to order what I wanted to drink (lactose free hot chocolate, if possibly dark chocolate) because the server would probably not understand me. Yet again I asked and there was none without lactose. And my waffle came without whipped cream, even though the server asked me if I wanted...

Eisacafe Dolomiten is a bar/ice cream shop. We took 2 ice creams, a warm chocolate, a tea, and a spritz. I cannot say I was impressed by the ice cream or the other things we ordered. So average ranking on that. The service was pretty poor. In fact, we didn't have tissue paper on the table or other basic amenities like extra sugar. Came here the other morning for coffee and a snack. The girl that helped me was not very nice and not very helpful when I asked if they had certain things. When I got my coffee, the spoon was dirty and had paper stuck to it.

I really wanted to sit and do some work but she said they don’t have WiFi, however there is a network available called “Eiscafe Guest” so not sure what that’s about.
