The coffee and croissant were tasty, however the overall experience was lacking, especially for the price (9€ for just two items). There was only one barista and one coffee machine, so it took over 20 mins for the coffee to be ready for pickup (there is no table service). The cafe was indeed busy when I visited, but not every table was occupied. I chose to sit outside as inside there were only a few tables with chairs, which were all taken - the remaining option inside was to sit on steps and lean against the wall… Not so comfortable. Outside, however, the hedges next to the tables were full of flies, meaning you would have to constantly swat at them while trying to enjoy the goods you had just bought…...

As the universally acknowledged centre of Hipdom and the Mecca for true coffee afficianados and aspiring Artistes in KA, this joint ticks all the boxes. The coffee is actually drinkable, the atmosphere glacially cool, and the service suitably insouciant. The croissant (simple) is very tasty indeed. I was not so amazed with the almond one. The banana bread was ok... strong taste but dry. One can only seat outside in really low chair and tables.
