Jaipur Golden Restaurant is a warm and inviting Indian restaurant offering a delicious and authentic dining experience. I have visited the location 5 times so far and the restaurant was always full. This is probably a testament to its popularity and quality of cooking. The staff are first class, offering friendly and attentive service. Upon entering the restaurant for the first time, I was immediately struck by its warm and welcoming atmosphere. The interior is classy and elegant, with rich colors and comfortable seating. I was greeted by a friendly host and seated at a table right away. My server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. He was able to answer all my questions and provide recommendations. I ordered chicken tikka masala and garlic naan and both were delicious. The chicken was spicy and masaledaar, the sauce was rich and flavorful. The naan was full of flavor and had a wonderfully fresh aroma that made me drool. Although the restaurant was full, service was prompt and courteous. My server checked on me regularly to make sure I had everything I needed. Although the food took a little while to be served, it was certainly worth the wait and overall we were very impressed with the level of service at Jaipur...
Read moreI went into a restaurant expecting not the worst, not the best but the middle, but I walked out pleasantly surprised and full. I’ve been travelling around the world tasting Indian restaurants, and Germany is great in this aspect. Small town Koblenz held very much respectable food, great for a dinner between friends and family, big town Berlin had a great culinary experience in India Club Berlin, and medium town Karlsruhe had debatably the best so far. This restaurant has been open for 3 months, and is an example for all Indian restaurants. Food was absolutely great, not a refined, elevated wild culinary adventure for your taste buds, but still very tasty . The service was as good as it gets, with the friendly waiter and the great staff. Now, this is where some ethnic restaurants go sour, or distasteful : the interior. This restaurant has a truly tasteful interior with paintings and good lighting and a laid back atmosphere. Seriously, if you are anywhere around this place, you have to try it. A truly exceptional...
Read moreDisappointing experience with the waiter
We visited this restaurant last night with a reservation, expecting a pleasant experience. Upon arrival, despite there being free space inside, we were told there was no availability and were made to sit outside. The service was extremely disappointing – the waiter’s attitude towards us was cold, in stark contrast to how he treated others, making us feel as though Indians aren’t welcome in an Indian restaurant.
We waited an entire hour for our food, and by the time it arrived, it was already dark outside. There was no lighting provided, and when we requested to move inside again (after seeing other customers allowed to do so), our request was refused despite visible space inside. They eventually offered us a candle, but it was so dim we could barely see what we were eating.
The food itself was good, but the overall experience was marred by the poor service, lack of hospitality, and uncomfortable atmosphere. I expected...
