Downgrade from five to two stars because of the service.

Waited in an half empty restaurant for 45 minutes without getting served. We asked the waitress 2 times and she always promised to come "just in a second".

She preferred chatting with guests and colleagues instead and playing with her cellphone. We left for the Irish pub next door. Same beer, better service.

Best beer in the region, very nice with Obatzda and two freshly backed Pretzels.

Unfortunately the pork knuckle is just available on Thursday here - Vogel Durlach and Ettlingen serve it every day. Good events like Schlachtfest with traditional dishes, different beers every couple of weeks. Service usually fast and friendly, unless "Sandra" is serving you. If you see her I recommend to change tables.
