The shawarma meat was very good and was topped with quite a unique , refreshing sauce, with which the shawarma could use a bit more of as I found it a bit dry. Still great value for the price! The falafels were light inside but a bit too greasy on the outside for my liking, and didn't really taste authentic to me. (note: I haven't been to Syria, but have eaten quite a lot of falafel in my time). However, it is likely that I visit this place again.

Wollte Habibi 2 mit einer Freundin heute das erste Mal testen. Haben beide, typische Essbox für den kleinen Hunger in der Schulmittagspause geholt. Das Ambiente wirkte gemütlich, ordentlich und sauber. Doch dann die Ernüchterung: Für 5€ bekommt man Fleisch, Salat und Kartoffeln zusätzlich Sauce (verschiedene Saucen zu Auswahl). Fleisch und Salat waren okay. Sauce hat gut geschmeckt. Aber die Kartoffeln eine absolute Katastrophe; sie waren kalt und steinhart, dass man sogar mit der Plastikgabel nicht hindurchstechen konnte. Man hat es richtig rausschmecken können, dass die Pommes/Kartoffeln nicht frisch waren. Sie waren zu stark durchfrittiert und höchstwahrscheinlich lagen sie auch schon eine gewisse Zeit in der Theke rum. Beim Salat hatten ich und meine Freundin auch Unterschiede. Sie hatte z.B. Tomatenscheiben, ich wiederrum gar keine. Fazit: An sich war das Fleisch okay. Finde es aber eine Frechheit, dass man solche Pommes anbieten tut. Sowas gehört in die Tonne meiner Meinung nach. Wir beide haben sie auch nicht gegessen. Wenn wir nicht schon wieder an der Schule gewesen wären, hätten wir das definitiv vorgezeigt. 5€ ist zwar keine hohe Summe, aber in der Umgebung gibt es etliche andere Imbissbuden, die auch "Dönerboxen" oder andere Kleinigkeiten anbieten, die vergleichsweise wenigstens schmecken.

Be careful when you order on Lieferando. My order was incorrect, and missing items. I paid more than 20 euro for my meal, when I called the restaurant to ask about it they just blamed it on the delivery guy and told me to buy from them directly even though they do not offer a delivery service…

A total disappointment! Extremely overrated?

Unfortunately this place didn't live up to its reputation, I come from where falafel and shawerma originate and can tell the difference between good and bad ones, it seems the owner is Moroccan and he got the total wrong idea of what Middle Eastern food is.

The sandwiches and meal portions were relatively huge, much bigger than average, if you're looking to fill your stomach with (not really cheap?) fluff and junk and don't care about taste even a bit then this is definitely the place to go to.

To me the falafel looked like and tasted as if the frying oil had crossed its usable lifetime long time ago (big mistake), then both falafel sauces and shawerma's seasoning were all over the top and totally exaggerated, like 20 times as strong as they can ever be which makes it taste more like non-spicy Indian or Mexican food instead of Middle Eastern.

To top it up my stomach (which is normally tolerant to restaurant food) couldn't even handle it well and had to go into panic mood. I would honestly recommend trying falafel at any other Middle Eastern (probably some Syrian or even Iraqi) place instead...

I’ve been a customer at Kabibi’s (Habibi’s) for years, and they have consistently provided great food and service the entire time. However, my most recent experience shocked me. I had politely requested the bald gentleman to prepare my shawarma without veggies and for a bag to carry it in. This was apparently enough to bring the bully out in him and he began making fun/complaining about my order in Arabic, presumably because he thought I wouldn’t understand it. It is an absolute shame to see such service from an otherwise fine...

OMG I cant believe that I am eating there for the last 2 years at least once per week and I am writting this only now :) This is master of all fast foods in karlsruhe. Similar to döners but again totaly different. Lebanese spices, you can combine many sorts of souces and food. Prices are totaly ok. If you coming from the party on saturday or sunday morning and you are hungry, only habibi should exist for you! Of course, visit it any time u want.
