Fuego del Sur — Restaurant in Kiel

It has so many good review, so I will list down what we have experience just to be legit. We heard its very good so we called prior to book a table. We arrived and have to wait for a while until we have to approach the service. We were then lead to the outside table(which was fine) to an unclean table. Some people use it before. There were crumbs on the table and the cuttlery were not refilled. As the food arrive I have to walk in to ask for new cuttlery. The food: we order steak medium well and get a well. It was okay overall. The salom pasta come with 3 pieces of Salmon about one iches each. The best tatsting food was the appetizer, which is baby calamari. Overall the ingredients quality (meat, calamari & salmon) were just okay. The service: well no one was ever there. At the end we get the wrong wine (they put soda water in) and we wait to ask for changes but no one literally was ever there at our table except the moment they bring food out. So we have to go in and leave

The bill over is normal price for eating for two, about 85. But if you are looking to take your partner somewhere nice with smooth service for a great date may be try to consider other place...

Wir sind mittlerweile schon mehrfach im Fuego del Sur in Kiel zu Gast gewesen – und jedes Mal absolut begeistert. Dieses Restaurant versteht wirklich, wie man Qualität, Service und Atmosphäre miteinander vereint.

Die Steaks sind jedes Mal exakt so zubereitet, wie wir sie bestellt haben – und das sogar bei medium rare, was leider nicht in allen Restaurants zuverlässig klappt. Hier stimmt einfach alles: Die Fleischqualität ist hervorragend, die Zubereitung auf den Punkt, und auch die Beilagen sind frisch, lecker und liebevoll angerichtet.

Der Service verdient ebenfalls ein großes Lob: Das Personal ist stets freundlich, aufmerksam und dabei angenehm unaufdringlich. Man fühlt sich als Gast rundum gut betreut, ohne dass es gekünstelt wirkt – einfach authentisch und herzlich.

Besonders schön ist es bei gutem Wetter: Dann kann man draußen Platz nehmen, die entspannte Atmosphäre genießen und sich bei angenehmer Hintergrundmusik ein wenig wie im Urlaub fühlen. Die Lautstärke der Musik ist genau richtig – sie sorgt für Stimmung, ohne Gespräche zu stören.

Bei einem unserer letzten Besuche war das Restaurant gut besucht, und es ist dabei passiert, dass der vorherige Gast offenbar etwas unter dem Tisch hat fallen lassen. Wir haben den Service kurz darauf hingewiesen – die Reaktion kam sofort, es wurde sich freundlich entschuldigt und alles umgehend gereinigt. Für uns absolut nachvollziehbar: Es kann in jedem Restaurant einmal vorkommen, dass ein Gast etwas fallen lässt – wichtig ist, dass der Service informiert wird und sich sofort darum kümmert, damit der nächste Gast wieder alles sauber und einladend vorfindet. Genau das war hier der Fall – professionell und lösungsorientiert.

Alles in allem ist das Fuego del Sur für uns ein echtes Lieblingsrestaurant geworden. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne – ob zu zweit für einen gemütlichen Abend oder mit Freunden für einen besonderen Anlass. Eine...
