⭐ ⭐ Very atmospheric and neat location. Especially good for tourists that would like to eat out in a typical Kieler Restaurant.

€€ 🌟 The price is pretty normal. You can even order things that aren't on the menu. I payed for Bratkartoffeln as much as I pay for a Portion of French fries 🍟. Very nice of them for my girlfriends 🎂 birthday.

⭐ The location is right under the Rathaus. More central isn't possible I think 🤔 😉

⭐The customer service was one of the nicest I've ever experienced in a Restaurant.

No regrets And the food was just awesome. Really soft, not too greasie potatoes 🥔.

Das Essen ist in Ordnung aber insgesamt kann ich das Restaurant nicht weiterempfehlen. Das Personal ist super unprofessionell. Wir standen etwa 5 Minuten am Eingang um unseren reservierten Tisch zugewiesen zu bekommen. Anstatt, dass man uns freundlich empfing wurden wir vom bedienenden Personal angemault, dass wir nicht so im Weg stehen sollen. Insgesamt verbrachten wir knapp 2 h im Restaurant obwohl wir weder Vor- noch Nachspeise und lediglich ein Getränk hatten. Alles ging nur mit Erinnerungen. Die Bedienung kam noch 3 mal um noch mal die Details der Bestellung zu erfragen.

Platzzuweisung: 5 Minuten Karte bekommen: 20 Minuten Bestellung aufgeben: 20 Minuten Getränke bekommen: 25 Minuten Essen bekommen: noch mal 30 Minuten Weitere Getränke bekommen: unmöglich Rechnung bekommen: nur mit Gewalt.

Für das Wiener Schnitzel zahlt man über 20 €, da sind aber weder Preiselbeersoße noch Karpern noch Sardellen enthalten. Zumindest die Preiselbeersoße kann man für 5€(!) nachbestellen. Gehts noch?! Das Schnitzel selbst war bestenfalls Durchschnitt.

Bei diesem Preisniveau dürfte man wirklich etwas mehr erwarten. Der Service ist bestenfalls Imbiss-Niveau und das Essen angesichts der Qualität mindestens 30% zu teuer.

Charming restaurant with lovely food - Ratskeller Kiel is located on Rathausplatz, centrally located in the city and easy to get to. The premises are charmingly old-fashioned and the food is simply delicious. We got pork medallions and veal roulade with chanterelles and both were super good. Very friendly service. Nice and huge restaurant with a very friendly and highly professional service. Great outdoor seating with the company of beautiful sea gulls. The food was OK, the sauces (on the salad as well as on the fish and meat) tasted and looked like badly prepared finished products. That could certainly be improved, every else was great. Thanks.

Charming restaurant with lovely food - Ratskeller Kiel is located on Rathausplatz, centrally located in the city and easy to get to. The premises are charmingly old-fashioned and the food is simply delicious. We got pork medallions and veal roulade with chanterelles and both were super good. Very friendly service. Highly recommended :-)!
