Mr.WASABI — Restaurant in Krefeld

If food adventures were a theme park, Mr. WASABI would be the roller coaster you don't want to miss! Our Saturday midday escapade to this joint was like stepping into a tastefully designed flavor wonderland. The interior is as delightful as a kid's dream candy store, minus the sugar rush.

House drinks were like friendly greetings from the menu. "Lemon lemonade, pineapple passion, and Maracuja madness, please!" We'd high-five the mixologist for these concoctions any day, except for Lemon, the "I'm-just-here-to-fill-the-numbers" drink at 5 bucks a pop.

The main course was a symphony of crunch and slurp. The duck was so crispy, it should've been called "Quackling." Udon noodles played the part of the velvety-smooth supporting actor. Don't like spicy? Well, the chef's got your back. But if you're more "bring on the fire," he'll happily sprinkle extra chili magic.

Ah, the poke bowl – a masterpiece of portion control and fishy diplomacy. Salmon and tuna were the real MVPs here, doing a synchronized swim in a sea of flavors.

Leider kann ich nur einen Stern geben. Habe heute im Briefkasten den Flyer von Mr. WASABI gesehen und dachte mir, den Laden probiere ich aus.

Angeboten wurde ein gestaffelter Lieferservice, je nach Entfernung und ein 10% Rabatt auf Alles bei Onlinebestellung.

Schnell geschaut und gesehen, dass ich nichtmal 1 KM weit weg wohne, also Lieferung frei Haus ab 10 Euro. Perfekt.

Online mein Essen zusammengestellt für 11,50,-. Doch da fing es an. "Lieferung erst ab 15 Euro möglich". Also Staffelung der Lieferung in der nächsten Stufe 2-4 KM.

Dachte mir bestimmt ein Systemfehler und rufst besser an.

Gesagt getan. Ein netter Herr wollte mir dann helfen. Adresse und Bestellung angegeben. Und sogar 10% Rabatt aus Kulanz bekommen, den man eigentlich nur für Onlinebestellungen bekommt.

Doch dann hiess es, ich müsse am besten noch was dazu bestellen, sonst müsse ich 2.50,- Liefergebühr zahlen.

Jetzt war ich richtig verwirrt. Habe klargestellt, dass im Flyer die Lieferung bis 2KM ab 10 Euro kostenlos ist. Da hat der Herr mir zugestimmt. Auch klar war, dass ich nichtmal einen Kilometer weit weg wohne. Das wurde auch bestätigt. Wieso soll ich dann Liefergebühren zahlen.

Da war der Herr dann auch überfragt. Nach kurzer Rücksprache mit einer weiteren Person im Hintergrund wurde mir dann gesagt, dass es an meiner Postleitzahl lag und man doch nicht nach KM abrechnet.

Man habe mir aber 10% Rabatt gewährt. Leider machen 10% Rabat, etwa 1 Euro die zusätzlichen Liefergebühren von 2,50 nicht weg.

Daraufhin habe ich die Bestellung storniert und der Herr am Telefon hat sich entschuldigt.

Ich weiss, hier geht es um einstellige Eurobeträge, aber die Werbeversprechen auf dem Flyer sind damit nichtig und zumindest für mich unbrauchbar.

Grade beim schreiben hat es jetzt noch geklingelt, Lieferservice. Trotz klarer Stornierung im Telefonat und Bestätigung des Herrn, wollte man Liefern. Auch etwas eigenartig.
