my mother and i went there, we had neither big expectations nor a reservation and it was pretty filled but we still got a cosy place outside with blankets ready for the late night winds.
the menu came quickly and with our drinks we got free ouzo with was the first exceptional thing we got, extremely cold with frozen bits in it, tasteful and soft, made me want to have another just to get the taste again and im not a big ouzo fan usually.
she ordered the number 37 a vegetarian plate with various grilled vegetables like zucchini, eggplants, falafel and pepperonis.i ordered number 76. Kotopoulo Tigáni, rice with a pan of fried chicken filets in a cheese- cream sauce with champignon mushrooms together with rice.
15 minutes after we ordered i got my salad which was mediocre but not bad in any way, i personally would order the salad without dressing and just use the delicious olive oil and balsamico vinegar that stand ready at the tables. but thats just me not being a fan of sweet salad dressings. there was one really good olive in the salad, but be warned it has a stone it it, but it is really good and again im not a fan of olives.
the main meal followed seamless after i finished my salad and to be honest i was blown away. the chicken was so good even my mom who was 30 years vegetarian and now only rarely eats meat tried it and found it delicious. the rice on its own was nice too, but i found the portion of rice too small in comparison to the big pan of meat and heavy cheesy sauce. but those are all personal preferences i guess, i rate the feeling and the taste we had and it was great.
my moms plate was also nice but grilled vegetables are not the thing i usually order in restaurant and to make them as good as my mom is hard. so we had high standards (just like the salad) about the plate we werent let down nor too hyped. the falafel was the best in my opinion. there was enough bread to go with the sauces and dips which i found to be tasty too.
do yourself a favour and order the garlic bread with zaziki as an appetizer.
i hope you will be as delighted...

We had an absolutely delightful experience at Alfa, the Greek restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting, and the service was top-notch. However, what truly made the evening memorable was our host for the night, Bixi. Bixi went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was exceptional.
The food was an absolute treat for the taste buds. Each dish was bursting with authentic Greek flavors that transported me straight to the Mediterranean. The attention to detail in presentation and taste was evident in every bite.
We highly recommend Alfa to anyone looking for a fantastic Greek dining experience. The combination of excellent service, delicious food, and the warm hospitality of Bixi makes this restaurant a must-visit. I can't wait to return and savor their incredible cuisine once again. Bravo,...
Read moreRecently we have been here twice. Both times we did a reservation in advance via phone. The Internet online form did not work out..nobody reached back to us as well no confirmation or decline were sent. .The staff is friendly, but it's a crowded place so folks are used that the place is full of tourists and that they don't have to do any extra effort. We went for several different dishes, incl. fish and traditional Greek selection of meals. The food was awesome. Summary: Restrooms are clean, the restaurant is children friendly, payment by card is possible. You can find a parking lot outside on the street (chargeable) or use the parking garage of Petersbogen next door. Thank you & we will...
