For all the Italians looking to eat some authentic pizza, this is not the place you are looking for.
We were 3 people, and I said beforehand that we had some problems past with the pizza not being cooked through when ordering from lieferando in the past and they said that they would communicate it to the pizzaiolo. When our pizzas came, one out of 3 was visibly undercooked, I asked the waiter if he could see some difference in the pizzas arrived and he agreed that there was one that was definately undercooked. They substituted it with another one that was only burnt on top with undercooked dough inside the crust. I pointed that out to the waiters and asked them to check for themselves and judge, they agreed and said that it was indeed cooked poorly. We were offered coffee and a skimpy tiramisù (one portion) to share between the 3 of us. The tiramisù was very liquid and tasted incredibly bitter.
One of us even had a stomach ache after eating the undercooked pizza. Moral of the story, we paid 70 euros for stomachache. In Italy, those pizzas would be sent back and the guests would not be allowed to pay one cent, let alone such a salty bill. This is such a shame, it is clear that the ingredients of the pizza are of high quality and that the dough is done properly. If only the cooking would have been done as it should it could have been a perfect pizza. That's really too bad. I have taken two guests out for dinner and vouched for them that we would eat authentic italian pizza, and we got served with a mess.
Only positive note were the waiters, they understood that the food was not properly cooked and were concerned about our complaints. They told us to come back when the italian pizzaioli are on duty, but I don't think I will...
Read moreBeen there two times now. The food is great, the service is shocking though. First time, we waited almost an hour for our food and it was a week day and fairly empty. The people on the table next to us, stopped the time on their phones and it ended up being 50 minutes. Also the guy that served us was really sick and coughed the entire time, while taking the orders, serving the pizzas, we genuinely lost our appetite. Maybe don’t let your workers come to work in a restaurant when they are so sick. The second time we went there was on Tuesday evening and we sat outside. The staff was stressed, which was fair enough cause it was busy. But which wasn’t acceptable is how unfriendly they were. We placed our order for drinks and two pizzas and the people next to us received their drinks, then the pizzas, then the next people got their food, even though they had all ordered later than us. When they finally brought out the pizzas, we reminded the staff of our drinks and they brought them out after the pizzas were already halfway eaten. When asked how our experience was while paying, we were honest and told them that we were disappointed. They made up an excuse about the receipt machine being broken, which was interesting, because our order was apparently the only one where an issue occurred. As I said, the food is great, but I would not go there again because for that price, I can go to a restaurant where the food is just as good but the service...
Read moreI am from America so i know a commercial, touristy-trap with no chef’s charm and only soul-deadening corporate administration when i see one. The English menu, the hip pizza names, the open concept kitchen, the giant logo on the wall, the utensils and napkins in a cup at your table like you are in a dining hall… everything screams COMMERCIAL and INAUTHENTIC. I’ve been eating out for the past month in Germany and this is the most touristy restaurant i have been to. I will never go to a place with an English name again!!
Very slow service. 60 seconds to Napoli? 60 minutes and 4 beers later i still don’t see my pizzas. The waiters have mastered the art of moving at a snails pace. I had to inform the waitress that we ordered over an hour ago. And guess what, after our pizzas were served, our appetizer still did not come!
Way too many bugs and flies landing everywhere on sticky services. I spent half of my beer-drinking time waving away files.
Pizzas were ok but overpriced. I very unhappily paid 70 Euros for two pizzas and a few local beers after an 1.5 hours of angry waiting. The appetizer i ordered was never served.
American manners. The waitress expected a 15% tip. This is unheard of in Germany.
Hello, please dont come here. Unless you want to get a taste of what the average dining experience in Los...
