I had an excellent experience at Tokyo Cafe in Leipzig! The food was authentic Japanese and absolutely delicious. I enjoyed it so much that I visited the restaurant twice during my stay in the city. The standout dish for me was the miso-ramen, which was the best I've ever had. I also tried the Calpis soda, a unique drink with a sweet, tangy, and slightly creamy flavor profile that was really enjoyable.

What made the experience even better was the owner's fantastic hospitality. She was a lovely person and made me feel welcome from the moment I stepped inside. We had a great chat, and it was clear that she genuinely cares about her customers.

Yesterday, a friend and I went to have Dinner at Tokyo Cafe. We were seated inside and asked to switch to an outside table, assoon other guests would leave. As this was not the case, the owner herself took an extra table outside for us so we cold enjoy the warm summer night. Both the owner and her staff treated us in the kindest, loving way and the food was great, too! The most real Japanese experience outside Japan. Just simply breathtaking. We ate here so many times, and everytime has been delicious. I am Vegan and the options are amazing and the restaurant is to cozy, that makes you feel home everytime you go. Taka the owner is lovely, and talking to her makes the experience even more memorable.
