I would give the food 4 stars but everything else was 5 stars (atmosphere, service, location, food options) so 5 stars. We came on the weekend for lunch, we waited 20ish minutes which was fine, we walked around some and came back but you may want to make a reservation if you know in advance you will eat there. The pasta is homemade. I got number 100. It was good, I felt like it was missing a little something but I don't know what. I tried the pizza early. That was really tasty. Located a few meters from the Rathaus (City Town Hall), at the Oberstadt from Marburg, the Bistro Early is one of the best options to eat the typical "Auflauf". If you are visiting the city during the summer, don`t hesitate to seat outside. During the winter, the cozy interior is the best choice.

With an excellent price (all pizzas, pastas, auflaufs for 5 euros) and also well prepared food, very tasty with great flavours, the restaurant becomes a "must go" when visiting thw town. The staff is also very polite.

Take time and visit this modest restaurant in the heart of Marburg, in sensational Oberstadt. There's a possibility to sit outside and enjoy the view, which is highly recommended. The inner ambient gives you a comfortable feeling. I particularly liked the modern paintings, decorating the walls. I was a little bit disappointing, when I first tried my Lasagna.
