Café & Restaurant Granatapfel - رمانة — Restaurant in Marburg

I have been ordering their food through UberEats this whole month, and I have to say they are one of the best restaurants in Marburg.

The prices are reasonable, the portions are huge, and they always have a lot of good deals on UberEats.

My favorites are:

Fried Chicken: It's crispy and flavorful. The sauce is creamy, not too watery, and very tasty. The coleslaw that comes with it tastes amazing as well.

Syrian Shawarma: I love adding halloumi cheese to it. It's only €6.50 for a small shawarma, with an extra €1 for the cheese. The shawarma is filled with meat, crunchy on the outside, and juicy and flavorful on the inside. Even though it's a small serving, it’s quite filling and very tasty.

Babaganoush: It's tangy and delicious with bread. I love it! It’s rare to find a restaurant that serves this dish in Marburg.

Milkshake: Also very tasty. Personally, I love combining mango with yogurt, along with oat milk.

Manakish: I’ve tried most of the flavors and love all of them, especially the cheese one.

Waffle with Nutella and Fruit: Also nice.

This has become my favorite restaurant in Marburg. I will definitely come...

Ich muss hier auf Google meine Bewertung schreiben, da der Inhaber mein Kommentar bei Befragungen immer löscht. Bedienung: freundlich und behilflich. Essen: ich habe die täglichen Gerichte, Falafel, Shawarma, Nachttisch, die Weinblätter und das Gebäck probiert.

Die täglichen gerichte waren lecker, warm und man merkte, dass sie frisch zubereitet wurden. Die Falafel auf mein Falafelteller waren klumpig, nicht gewürtzt und man merkte, dass sie sehr trocken sind. Deshalb bestellte ich auch noch mehr Sesamsoße dazu. Für die Extrasoße wurde 1 Euro kassiert (Ein Drittel des Preises eines 500 g Packung im Supermarkt), ich erwartete dass die Soße in eine separate Dose abgefüllt wird, stattdessen wurde mir ein kleines bißchen auf die Falafel gemacht. Die Soße war sehr dickflüssig, welche die klumpigen Falafel nicht viel besser machte. Das Kauen im Mund war sehr anstrengend. Deshalb würde ich die Falafel dort nicht wiederbestellen.

Shawarma: lecker gewrützt und saftiges Fleisch. Minuspunkt fürs Preis-Leistung Verhältnis. Bei Damas und Shawarma Haus bekommt man für die 3,5 Euro (Shawarma Haus) bzw. 4,5 Euro (Damas) mehr fleisch in das Sandwich, obwohl beide Restaurants in Marburg sind. Das kleine Shawarma kostet bei Granatapfel 3,5 Euro und das Sandwich ist nicht dicker als mein Zeigefinger, die große kostet 4,5 Euro aber die gleiche Menge an Fleisch ist gefühlt drin. Da muss also viel verbessert werden. Mein letzter Shawarma-Teller war zwar mit viel Salat und Beilage aber das Fleisch war fehlanzeige.

Nachtisch: lecker, frisch und Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis stimmt. Man schmeckt zwar viel Stärke in der Füllung von Kanafe und Helweet eljibn aber im allgemein stimmt alles.

Die Weinblätter sind lecker. Tabouleh ebefalls aber kann ruhig mehr gewürtzt werden.

Das Gebäck schmeckt wenn es warm und frisch ist. Das Fleisch ist sehr trocken und man schmeckt und hat fast keinen Geschmack.

im Allgemein 3 Sterne. Einige Gericht können mehr bekommen. Mich hat es gestört, dass der Betreiber die Bewertungen, die ihm nicht gefallen immer wieder entfernt hat. Ebenfalls kann man noch mehr am...

Edited: Overrated place. Went for the great reviews but I don't understand the fuss. Service was kind and fast but the Falafel Teller had no taste that stood out from any other I'd have. Maybe it lacked good cabbage or sauses. The wine leaf rolls, however, were the thing that was really good. There are better places in Marburg to get the same dish. It was by no means bad, but I expected a lot more from that near perfect 5 star average, that's why I give it a 3 instead of a 4. It's somewhere in between to me.
