ALEX München Pasing Arcaden — Restaurant in Munich

Nice place with a big and nice terrace in front of the mall and right beside the train station. Food variety is good. Food itself is pretty standard for a chain and a little overpriced. Chain always has good and central locations. Staff of the branch seems to be nice but me and my compagnion in a wheelchair have been asked to leave or go inside the place after opening one of their umbrellas to get some shadow since all other tables with shadow have been occupied. There was no wind and plenty of sun. We said we would close it if the weather would change. We asked the waitress to reason with the manager. All other places had their umbrellas up. Came back refused again on order of the manager in a kind manner and offered us a table inside during summer with no one sitting inside. We asked her to try once again since we do not understand the treatment in this situation and would give a negative review. Came back holding the same answer for us. To be honest waitress did a good job doing what she was told thou she seemed uneasy with the answers she gave since it did not make sense. Special thanks to the branch manager Erik. Seems he is a good one when it comes to business not having the decency to come by himself to explain the situation. Anyway was the last time for me or my compagnion in any of the Alex branches. We left with an uneasy feeling about the situation, but found another place not sure why we have been complimented out of the place. I recommend to pass by this place and go to another one when...

Dissapointing, we came last week, and had fish and chips and the salmon "teriyaki" bowl. I don't normally post negative reviews, but after thinking about it for a long time, I decided I wished I would have seen this review.

Salmon came what seemed like from a can, plus there was none of the promised teriyaki sause on the Buddha bowl, lastly, there was no ginger and no wasabi and the salmon wasn't raw and and not fresh, if you want to know where you should order it, go to zeitgeist restaurant and order a pokebowl there, same price, 100% better. One plus: service personal was friendly but very busy.

To upper management: invest in good and fresh food, with actual flavour. Get more service personal to attend to your guest, they do their best and are kind bur are CLEARLY understaffed (you better pay them well, also, I think the employee turnover must be very high here).

The fish and chips my partner had also was clearly coming from the fridge, for these prices it should be freshly home made chips & white cod with a homemade beer batter sause. (Not rocket science). Not what tastes like a frozen fishstick from metro.

Sad, as I was looking to celebrate my birthday with friends in the future here due to the diversity of the menu, we will go...

My partner and me - and two dozen other guests - spend the better part of a Pokemon Go Community Day here. The restaurant sits right between 6 stops - lured at this time - so the opportunity to catch was almost as good as if roaming outside. The atmosphere is very cozy especially upstairs - it's a living room there.
