Amistad - tapas y vino — Restaurant in Munich

Second time having dinner here. Both times a great experience. I highly recommend to make a reservation because it gets busyyy. Staff is friendly and food was quick. Calamari was just perfect. Mushroom were as delicious as i remembered them from the first time. I couldn't stop eating the bread and aioli - they're just too good. Wish I had more space to eat more. Will definitely come back again to try out some other dishes. Wine was really nice, but a bit pricey. We came exactly at 18:00 and had the table until 20:00. It started getting pretty loud by 19:30 with the amount of people in the small area. Lovely...

Great ambiance, attentive service. Food wise:

Solomillo, great quality meat, delicious sauce. Artichoke, boiled, sprinkled with sea salt and parsley on top - amazing.

Tortillas: disaster, overcooked, burnt, too much sauce, completely falling apart. Maybe I'm spoiled by great tortillas but this one was a real let down.

Croquetas with ham - don't. Overly spiced, with both cumin and tomato sauce. (It should only be either or) I can see what they're trying to do but it didn't go anywhere.

Padron peppers, standard. Octopus salad, too much olive, I wouldn't. Anchovies: nothing...

Very poor service. If you „only“ order drinks, expect to pay more without the waiters informing or asking. We were charged some kind of premium for tap water (charged as a bottle that we didn’t order) without even telling us just because we didn’t order food and it was a busy night (their excuse when we were confused when they charged each person more, they never gave us the bill). What kind of bar / restaurant is this? Christoph was super sketchy and arrogant. Just strange and cheap. We felt very taken advantage of ... really don’t...
