We had a delightful evening dining in the garden. It’s a beautiful setting. The whole restaurant is lovely. We said we’d visit here regularly if we lived in Munich! I had the salmon sashimi with lamb shank and my husband had the 4 course surprise menu. Everything was excellent. The lamb was especially delicious! The wine waiter was knowledgeable and the perfect balance between friendly and professional. Dani - our waiter was delightful and we had a lovely chat with him about his home, Bali, and how much he is enjoying life in Munich. Thank you for a really really excellent evening. You have a great team and a great restaurant.

If you haven't been here since it's reopening, book a table now! (...If you can get one) We had the tasting menu , and it was great value. Bayerischer-Asian fusion may sound odd, but it works... try it for yourself. Inside the place is very stylish: downstairs with its subdued lighting and flower bedecked bar ,the mood is discreet romance. Outside seating was spacious enough to relax and enjoy your meal. The service was very good; friendly, a little on the cheeky side, and very professional. All in all, a great experience, thank you, Bogenhausen Hof.

This was the best weiner schnitzel I've ever had! The mushrooms and berries were just perfect toppings. I did not need much sauce. Be sure to order their house special weiner schnitzel. The chestnut soup was also very good with bits of pear. We didn't make reservations and it was a Friday night. Luckily we were accommodated at a very comfortable bar with an attentive bartender. This is one of the most comfortable bar seatings I've been to with plush elevated couches instead of stools.

The prices are quite high, but I knew that ahead of time and was still excited to try this restaurant. Unfortunately we had a very poor experience. My €44 pasta had a hair in it which I kindly and discreetly reported to our server, who proceeded to argue with me claiming it was my hair (it was not) and also invited me into the kitchen to prove that the cooks had darker hair than the mysterious light short hair in my pasta. I simply asked for a new plate, even stating that it could be a half serving since I had already eaten a few bites. While the restaurant did oblige with this request, I was reminded once again that the hair was probably mine when the server brought it out. Other points of service were lacking which I won’t detail here but overall our whole mood was dampened by this experience and it’s a shame to waste such an evening, especially while paying close to €100 for a single dinner where you need to argue for...

The location is truly beautiful – elegant interiors and a lovely, well-maintained garden outside that’s perfect for a summer evening. The overall atmosphere is refined yet welcoming.

Service was a bit on the slow side, even though it was a weekday evening. The restaurant was fairly busy, but not overwhelmingly so.

As for the food, there were some highlights and some less convincing dishes. The saltimbocca was particularly delicious – well-prepared and full of flavor. I also tried a watermelon tataki with scallops, which I expected to be a light and refreshing summer dish. Surprisingly, the watermelon was served warm, which didn’t quite deliver the freshness I was hoping for.

Overall, a good experience with some standout dishes and a setting that’s definitely worth a visit. With slightly quicker service and a bit more consistency in the kitchen, this place could be truly...
