Ordered from Uber eats. If you think it’s a fake review from different ids, I challenge you to do so. I have many reviews written in US, India, and many other countries. As indicated earlier review, take this as a productive review for your improvement, if you can’t help yourself in delivering right product then leave it. Im a visitor here and would like to enjoy Indian food here during my visit. I have no interest to damage your reputation but I must get what I get paid for. I have taken this with Uber eats as well that you are selling a food item by labeling it wrong
What you are selling as hyderabadi chicken biryani is NOT a hyderabadi chicken biryani
Ordered Hyderabad chicken biryani. Undoubtedly the worst. First of all it’s not Hyderabad biryani, it’s an undercooked rice with few pieces and it’s not even 1% matching with the name.its big time fooling around using name Hyderabad biryani when it is not . To the owner - you don’t have to go India , just stop by at neighboring restaurent and try Hyderabad biryani to know what it is and how it looks like than misusing the name or selling wrong product. I wish I had little More time in Munich so that I could have personally sponsored to eat the biryani elsewhere and learn. Such a pathetic experience on the visit. I strongly recommend to learn what is Hyderabad biryani or atleast try to stay 20-30% of...
Read moreI've been wondering whether to try this place or not, because the menu had nothing special. So I cautiously ordered just a gobi Manchurian and samosa chat through Uber eats. Gobi Manchurian was so doughy that's all I could taste. And the dough wasn't cooked all the way through. The sauce was not at all flavorful. Overall quite poor. Samosa chat was sub-standard on a different level. It was basically cut up samosa, with a splash of green chutney and topped with excessive amounts of raw onions and tomatoes. The samosa tasted like it was made with old/ reused oil and the filling tasted stale and had an inedible number of coriander seeds. There were no elements of what makes a chat - no yogurt or crunchy toppings (namkeen) or additional sauces. Instead we found shredded cabbage and rucola! No idea where in India they make chat with either of these.....And the chutneys which came with the chat didn't look appealing. There was a very artificial looking red one which I didn't dare open and the green was alright. The only saving grace of the order. Overall very disappointing. I thought the standard of Indian food in Munich had improved so much over the last few years - but so sad to see that such low standards still have 4.9/ 5 ratings. I'll be staying clear of this one in the future. There are much better, authentic options...
Read moreWe were a group of friends from India on a holiday in Munich. Usually I avoid restaurants with very low or even very high ratings, but Urban Turban was suggested by a friend who had been here before. We tried many Indian restaurants but this was the only 1 where everything felt right. The food, the atmosphere, the cleanliness and most of all the way they welcomed us. It honestly felt like we were sitting back home. We ordered different Veg and Non-Veg dishes, each dish had it's own flavour, colour and spice level. The outside area was almost full at that time but still the staff was calm, friendly and looked after us so well. Even simple things like offering Tap water without asking made us feel the real Indian hospitality. Everyone in our group enjoyed it. We had a wonderful, memorable evening in Munich. Big thanks to Mr. Parminder and the team. Next y3ar when we come back, we already know where our first...
