Although I enjoy spicy Indian cuisine, I had never visited an Indian restaurant in Munich until recently. My expectations were modest, but I was pleasantly surprised the food was truly delicious, and the hospitality was exceptional. From the moment we arrived until the end of our meal, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. When we inquired about the dishes, they took the time to patiently explain each one, including the ingredients and preparation methods. If you’re not a fan of overly spicy food, there’s no need to worry they adjust the spice level to your preference unless you request otherwise. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in search of a great Indian dining experience in Munich.

We tried this place for the first time and it was as good, we had Samosas, shrimp Biryani, vegetarian Biryani and chicken Curry. Our only suggestion is to make the shrimp Biryani more flavorful as it was a bit without any specific taste. The service was good as well, very friendly. Another suggestion is regarding packaging of leftovers, they put everything together as samosas should have been left in a separate container and not in the curry sauce.

Ich schreibe selten Bewertungen und lasse mich nicht leicht überzeugen, aber nach meinem fünften Besuch im Urban Turban möchte ich meine Erfahrungen teilen. Ich gehe oft in Restaurants essen, aber selten hat mich ein Lokal so überzeugt, dass ich mir die Zeit nehme, eine Bewertung zu schreiben. Im Urban Turban habe ich viele Gerichte ausprobiert. Ein-Zwei haben nicht ganz meinen Geschmack getroffen, was wahrscheinlich an meinen persönlichen Vorlieben liegt. Dennoch hat die Küche hier eine angenehme, positive Abweichung von anderen indischen Restaurants in München. Besonders gut geschmeckt haben mir Gobi Manchurian, Alu Tikki, Tikka Achari Taka Tak, Butter Chicken, Chicken Biryani, Ingwer-Knoblauch-Naan, Rogan Josh, Achari Gosht, Chicken Vindaloo und Garlic Jheenga. Was mir auch sehr gut gefällt, ist die Möglichkeit, die Schärfe der Gerichte selbst zu bestimmen. Die Gerichte sind von Haus aus eher würzig und es wird nicht an Gewürzen gespart, was ich toll finde. Das Lokal ist modern eingerichtet und hat einen wunderschönen Garten. Sowohl der Service als auch das Ambiente haben mich vollkommen überzeugt. Insgesamt bin ich mit allem sehr zufrieden und kann das Urban Turban nur weiterempfehlen.

Recently experienced an absolute treat at Urban Turban! The Bhartha with Prantha is a taste sensation, truly world-class. The service is impeccable – the staff couldn't be friendlier, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between sophistication and comfort. Highly recommend Urban Turban for an authentic and delightful Indian dining experience.

We have visited the restaurant today for dinner and were pleasantly surprised. Nice atmosphere, freshly renovated, very friendly service and super fast turnover times. We literally got our food in 10 mins. Everything was delicious and very fresh. Would definitely come back! Happy to finally have nice Indian restaurant in our neighbourhood.

Ich kann mich den Bewertungen der anderen nur anschließen. Auf Empfehlung gekommen, auch mit Hund kein Problem. Essen und Service wirklich super. Der Lieferant hat sogar ein Wasser zum trinken bekommen, was heute auch keine Selbstverständlichkeit mehr ist. Solche Kleinigkeiten finde ich wirklich super ☺️
