First of all, I would like to highlight how amicable, warm and nice the staff were. This was a 10/10 for sure.

The coffee itself was imo nothing special. I would give it a 4/10 or a 2/5 stars. Around the same level of a commercial coffee shop, not as good as a specialty coffee shop. We asked which blend we had been given, and it was the lilien blend. We ordered an espresso, cappuccino, flat white, americano, and latte, so that we could have a proper tasting of their blend. The espresso tasted slightly burnt, so I think the settings might have been slightly wrong in the machine. The flat white also tasted a little burnt and very sour. The latte and cappuccino tasted ok but it might be because of the abundance of milk 😅

We bought the blend we had to try at home in our machine, to see whether it was just a bad blend, or it was rather the preparation that was not great. After 3 coffees, I can tell that imo this blend is “ok” but I would definitely expect better from a specialist. Not too different from some commercially bought coffees. I would love to come again and have a second opinion at a different blend, as the staff were so nice and inviting, and Jacobs story is all about fun and love in his relationship...

I really like this cafe for the very high quality coffee and the Nordic design, also one of the very few places in Munich that has now started a cashless operation which I really appreciate. I have just one criticism; with the switch to cashless operation the staff has started asking for tips. This has happened on the past two visits. I personally believe that the tipping process should be organic and should happen naturally to appreciate good service. My friend pointed this out to the staff and they said that most people forget to tip when paying via contactless methods, hence, they remind the customers. Please understand that tipping would follow naturally in exchange for good service. Asking for tips would actually deter people from further visits. Just my two cents. Keep up...

Love the coffee here! Simply the best espresso I ever had(it’s my favorite coffee place in Munich). I have been buying beans here for last 3 years but recently I noticed they have a payment machine when paying with EC card, instead of pin the device takes you to the tip page(eg:5%,10%, custom %, no tip). I’m seeing this for first time in Munich in 8yrs. For me this is more American culture, I’m happy to pay tip for the service but it needs to be my choice without making the customer guilty(and definitely nooo for take away beans)..also I’m very very happy to support with you against the government for increasing the minimum wage but please don’t bring this on the customer… I absolutely hate this when ever I travel to US, and it’s very sad to see this in EU & in my favorite...

Wonderful trendy vibes in this lovely speciality coffee shop!! I love the colorful decor and the lovely joyful colorful packaging of the products on the shelves!! The Artisan chocolate they sell looks very exotic I almost felt I entered a coffee shop in Argentina! Everything is packed and displayed with love!! I ordered a flat white, it was a bit acidic, but it depends on your choice of coffee beans! It’s better to mention to the Barista your preference. There were several vegan cakes and desserts which I thought looked very good and up to date with people’s lifestyle choices at the moment! The staff is very friendly and relaxed! The owner seems very smart, super friendly and passionate about his business!! Thank you for a lovely experience!!

Amazing cafe just outside of Munich city centre. Perfectly roasted, they had three filter options on the day we went, all of which were delicious. We tried their Basque cheesecake and a Peanut butter, chocolate and banana cake, both of which were fantastic. After our initial filters we were still in need of caffeine so we also had an oat milk flat white, which hit the spot. As we paid we had a quick chat with the roaster, who is originally from the UK and has insane knowledge of beans, and was about to go to Ethiopia on a sourcing trip. If you’re a coffee nerd or just like a flat white or cake, this is the place for you. 5/5 Note: Payment via card or PayPal is possible.
