Chidos Burritos — Restaurant in Munich

Trying to be as nice as i can…. If this was in texas—- it would shut down within a week, but im giving it a decent review for the effort as we are halfway across the world and chef 100% hasnt been to texas to really eat tex mex…. Came here because of great reviews. Im a Texan and absolutely looked forward to having a little bit of home…. Tex mex is literally in my dna…. But I didnt have high expectations as we are munich, so I was just hoping for mediocre tex mex… it was slightly below that in terms of flavor, quality and authenticity. Tex mex is hard to mess up as its far from mexican and more texas style but the lack of beef in the beef tacos (more like stuffed taco bowls) an overusage of raw zuchinni in the steak and shrimp fajita… to the store bought salsa and tortilla… i was hoping for at least self made salsa, simple easy cheaper and way tastier… its okay to use all the veggies on the platter and less meat but at least carmelize it properly… the veggies in the fajita platter were barely sauteed and coveredd in sauce… fajita platters never have sauce, and just salsa on side. The rest was wrong but not a big deal as again we are in munich… but at least go to texas and try tex mex before opening a shop. My 7,9 and 13 year old visiting from Texas also said it was not tex mex and they couldnt eat much of it without whining as the seasonings were also wrong. Burrito wasnt so bad but never put raw barely cooked zuchinni...

Chido’s Burritos is hands down one of the best spots in Munich for Mexican food! 🌮 The tacos are absolutely delicious — super flavorful, fresh, and packed with just the right amount of spice. Pair them with one of their margaritas and you’ve got the perfect combo. 🍹 The margs are strong, refreshing, and not too sweet — exactly how they should be.

The vibe is laid-back and fun, with a great atmosphere whether you’re just stopping in for a quick bite or hanging out with friends. Staff is super friendly and the service is quick even when it’s busy. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic tacos and good drinks...

Just love it. Food, service, ambience, drinks everything on the spot. We ordered 4 drinks, cocktail and mocktails and every one of them tastes very authentic and prepared freshly We ordered vegetarian options : nachos, fajitas, enchiladas and Quesadilla and everyone of them tasted superb and tasty specially for our Indian taste buds. Service was top notch. Smita make sure we had everything we need and had a good nice conversation with her. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone and also myself will be going there...
